Too Friendly

The walk to school was fine. At least, now I know it was. Something worse, a whole story of bad things, were leading up, and I was walking right towards the start of it.

The school had two buildings or so I'd been told, and I was beginning to see the peak of the first one. It looked very old, like someone had taken a sledgehammer to it. More people had crowded the path, and I was already freaking out. I hadn't even made it into the school!

Finally, I managed to get to the steep slope that lead up to the gates. People from the ages of 11-17 were talking to eachother, and thankfully, no one was looking at me. Yet.

I never really do any exercise. And this hill did take a lot out of me. How these kids walked up it everyday, I have no idea? They're probably fitter than me though.

The school was bigger than I expected. There were So many corridors, I decided that it would be better to walk outside, as it's more open, less chance to get lost. Why did I have to do that? Why?

There were lots of different blocks in that school, and the first one I passed was the English block. It was very short, but it had about 5 'balconies'. Only about 6ft off the floor. Many kids gathered underneath each one.

I had tried to walk past each one without being detected by anyone as a 'new kid'. That had failed quickly. On the 4th balcony, 2 boys and 3 girls sat there talking and laughing. My eyes darted to the girl closest to me. She had bob length hair that swept inwards at her shoulders, it suited her a lot. She had eyes like fresh cut grass, speckled with hazel. Her white top looked so much better on her than it did on me. However, she wasn't the one who noticed me.

A tall, lanky boy has stood up, peering over the rest of the group. His eyes were a deep blue in this light, like the deep ocean. His coal black hair was swept into a fringe, but from the roots springs of ginger burst up. His hair was obviously dyed.

"Hey! Y'new here, aren't you?" His voice burst across the yard, aiming directly at me. There was a soft hint of Northern in him. "Mmm" I didn't want to say much, I was hoping he hadn't heard. He had better hearing than I thought. "Noice!" He carried on, "do y'need some help getting around?" He replied, oblivious to fact that I was trying to ignore him. "I'm alright" I mumbled again, a bit louder this time.
"Well, m'names Phil if y'need me"

Phil. I'll remember to avoid him at all costs. He's waaaayyyyy to friendly.

~Hey Guys! So sorry for taking ages to upload again, I procrastinated a lot. Sorry!~
