1 day before the accident
Emma's POV
I didn't even need to open my eyes to know who was jumping on my bed.
"Aiden get off of my bed now," I warned him.
"Come on Em, I need a ride to school," he said as he continued to assault my bed with his dirty feet.
I tried to ignore him and surprisingly it worked. He stopped jumping and walked out of my room. I fell back a sleep wanting at least five more mins of peace before I had to get up, but obviously that wasn't possible with Aiden in my house.
Turns out he went downstairs to get a pot and a big metal spoon. He walked back in my room banging the two objects together making me pull my covers over my head. The noise stopped but he decided to jump onto my bed, on my body, suffocating me.
"AIDEN I'M GONNA KILL YOU!"
"Get up, we're gonna be late," he whined and slapped my ass, knowing that I hated it when he did that.
I ignored him again and kept my eyes shut.
"I can easily just take your car keys and drive there myself...." he trailed off and that got my full attention.
"Don't you dare touch my baby," I said as I sat right up and smacked his chest.
He rubbed the spot pretending it hurt but I know that it hurt me more than it hurt him. Aiden was a pretty built guy considering he was the quarterback of our school's football team. He was so cocky about it too, I hated it. It didn't help that he was extremely attractive, but of course I would never say that out loud. It would only feed his ego.
"You already did though," he said with that signature smirk on his face, snapping me out of my thoughts.
I really needa learn how to talk in my head.
"Yeah you kind of suck at it."
I rolled my eyes at him and walked into my bathroom. I was able to get my rat's nest of a hair presentable and made sure to apply some mascara and lipstick.
After I got dressed, I walked downstairs to see my mom and Aiden whispering and giggling about something.
"What's going on?"
"Oh morning hunny, Aiden was just telling me that you wanted me to wash your bed sheets," my mom told me. I could just see Aiden's annoying smirk through the corner of my eye.
"What? I never said that," I said confused.
"It's okay Emma, we all have accidents sometimes," Aiden said budding in before my mom could reply.
I stood there for a minute trying to figure out what he meant by that and then the bell rang.
"You're such an asshole! Mom I didn't pee on the bed, please forget what he said," I quickly spat out as I dragged Aiden out the door with me.
"You're walking to school," I angrily said as I unlocked my car and headed towards the driver's seat.
"What! Come on! I came all the way over here and even woke you up," he pouted like a little kid.
"You live right across from me, don't make it sound like you flew from Russia to get to my house. And that's another reason why you're walking," I told him. I didn't need a personal alarm clock. He was more like an annoying rooster that kept croaking in your ear.
Before I could lock the door so that he couldn't get in, he beat me to it and started putting his seatbelt on.
"Off we go!" he yelled.
