It was the day of the homecoming game, the boys were strangely relaxed about it. I would be too though if I were them, they haven't lost a single game. Tay and I got there a bit earlier to watch the boys run over the plays.
"Dude, look at Aiden run," she pointed out to the field.
My eyes automatically landed on the number 9. He was extremely fast. The fact that he was actually good at something surprised me because I always just see him as my annoying ass neighbour. Come to think of it, Aiden is good at a lot of things. He's really smart, always gets the best marks in his classes. He's athletic, I mean he's the quarterback. He's also really good at the guitar, I've heard him play once and it sounded really good.
"Hello? Emma?" Tay said waving her hand in front of my face.
"Huh yeah?"
"You've been spacing out for ten minutes, did you hear anything I said?"
I shook my head and she laughed, "man you like him don't you."
She did not just say that. I almost barfed in my mouth.
I covered her mouth with my hand, "those words shall never leave your mouth again," I jokingly warned her. She just rolled her eyes and took my hand off of her mouth.
"The games starting," she told me. I looked around to see that the guys have went back inside and people were already crowding onto the bleachers.
