I felt someone shake me awake, I noticed it was dark out, the sky already decorated with shimmering stars. Looking down I saw a large mansion, the helicopter descending slowly, gently stopping on top of the roof. The two men got out first, one grabbing my bag and the other offering me his hand, I pushed his hand away and jumped from the copter. I then took my bag from the first guy, the blades of the copter still going, taking off once more and leaving the three of us standing on the roof, in the dark.
"Miss Meyers," I turned to see a thing man, approximately 6'3", wearing black dress pants, a white shirt, purple tie and a purple vest. He wore white gloves on his hands, his hair in a tight ponytail. "I am Walter C. Dornez, the head butler here at Hellsing mansion." He slightly bowed, turning to his right and pointing towards the door on the roof. "Please follow me, I shall show you to your bedroom, once you get settled in, I shall take you to Sir Integra." I nodded.
Walter and I walked in slightly darkened hallways, he didn't say much, we just walked in silence. we passed a large mirror in the middle of the hallway, I stopped and looked at the random mirror. It's rather large for just a single mirror, I placed my hand on the side and felt a breeze. 'There shouldn't be a breeze coming from a wall...unless...' I pushed it to the side, a dark corridor with stairs, leading down, came into view.
"Walter?" He stopped, turned to look at me. "What's down here?"
"Sir Integra shall tell you, Miss. For now, let's close that and continue." He gently smiled at me, I nodded, closed the mirror/door, I made a mental note to sneak down those stairs later tonight.
Walter and I stopped at the last door on the third floor, he opened it and allowed me inside. I looked around, it's much bigger than my old room in at the church, of course it is, this is a fucking mansion for god sake. Walter then closed the door, allowing me to put what little belongings I had away and let me change. I took out my one and only favorite picture. It was a black and white photo of my four year old self, a flower crown on my head, a smile on my face and a blush on my cheeks. I was sitting on my father's lap, a smile on his face as well and my mother sitting next to my father. I smiled at the photo, taking my father's cross and hanging it over the picture. I dressed in my black, long sleeved, crop top, my two slit, floor length skirt, fishnet tights, and combat boots. I then fishtailed my hair, made sure the cross my uncle gave me showed and walked out the door.
"Oh!" I looked to my right to see a blond haired girl with blue eyes. "Hello! I'm Seras Victoria!" she stuck out her hand, I grasped it and gently shook hands with her.
"I'm Viola Meyers." I told her, her eyes then widened.
"You're Sir Integra's successor!" She smiled a big toothy smile, my heart then stopped, she has fangs.
"Police Girl." I turned around to see a woman with long blond hair, wearing a suit, cigar in mouth, blue eyes and glasses. "You're too damn loud, as always." Her blue eyes then met my dark brown ones. "Viola, the last time I saw you, you were only a few seconds old."
"Yes, well, I was just born, Sir Hellsing." I said, a little bit of sarcasm in my voice, she smirked.
"Sarcastic, deadly, a virgin, smart, young and beautiful." Sir Integra smiled. "All things the future head of Hellsing needs." She then started walking back down the hall. "Follow me." Seras, Walter and I followed Integra to her office, she sat down, Walter by her side and left Seras and I standing. "Now that you're settled in, tell me what you know about Hellsing."
"Hellsing, or Her Royal England Legions of Legitimate Supernatural and Immortal Night Guard, was founded by your grandfather: Abraham Van Helsing. Your father, Arthur, was the head of the family, then when he passed he made you head. When your Uncle found out he tried to kill you, you were then saved by a mysterious man. That's all the church in America would tell me." I told her, she nodded, impressed.
"They told you more than I thought they would." She said, lighting another cigar.
"If you don't mind me asking," she looked up at me, "why am I here? I know there's another reason why you wanted me." Smirking, she puffed out smoke, the smirk never leaving her face.
"I'll tell you when I think you're ready, Viola." Integra then stood up, walking towards me and placing a hand on my shoulder. "Go get some rest, tomorrow, you'll meet an old friend of mine." Nodding, I left her office, and headed towards my room. I wanted to go back to the mirror, but tiredness consumed me worse than my curiosity.
Integra's POV
"Are you sure you want to put her and Alucard in the same room?" I turned and looked at Walter. "She does have a grudge against every vampire that walks the earth." I walked back to my desk, placing my finished cigar in the ash tray and folding my hands in front of me.
"Yes, she may have a grudge, but she opens her heart to everything. Her mother was the same way, looking at the good in everything and everyone." I said, but deep down I had my doubt, I just didn't show it.
