After he chose to be a kind, caring vampire, he discovered he had abilities, including a healing ability, where his body heals, he can look in to people's eyes and hypnotise them, he got into a bar brawl and got stabbed and practically bled out but somehow survived, this is when he understood he couldn't die, he grew old and older, saw his friends die with time
                          200 years later

He hadn't aged a day and he met a group of people who he saw as prey as he had nothing to stay sane for, they sensed the vampire in him, he went to take a bite and they used their speed to stop him, "are you vampires?" he asked, "yes, all of us, including you I see" "you are the first vampires I've seen in 200 years" yes there was a war between vamps, wolves and humans, we had to survive a war and no humans, you are also the first vamp we've seen" "who are you?" "we are the legion of black, and now if you choose to leave your humanity behind, you will be one of us too"

Now he had a choice, humanity or no humanity, if he leaves his humanity, he will be the most murderous thing that's ever been on the earth, as he is one of the most powerful vampires that's ever walked the earth, after he battles with his emotions, he chooses to let go as he has nothing left to fight for, he releases and declares war on all of humanity, "anyone with emotions will die" he shouts as he walks into a pub, they replace the old rusty necklace with a ring, a sunshine ring they called it.
He goes on hunting missions around the world, including where he's from in nebraska, he has to kidnap people and take them back to the legion of black so they can feed, he hypnotises people to let him in and out of prisons with his prey and tortures them before feeding his brethren, after 6 months he turns on the other vampires, and rips all of their hearts out, his eyes as red as blood, he wanted to kill everybody, he decides everyone deserves to die and starts another war but against everything that lives in all places, this is where his reign started.
