Situation turning worse

The day passed in a jiffy. Everyone was busy among themselves the whole day. They gathered in the evening and sat their chit chatting.

Umeed Hospital

Nandini was sitting in her cabin. She had no work left. It was almost half past 7. She did not go hope as she was avoiding everyone. She thought of passing her time sitting there. She called a nurse and asked her not to disturb her until and unless there was any emergency . She also asked her to let her know if someone from her home called and ask her where abouts. She asked to tell them that she is busy with an emergency case. She took out a novel from her book self and started reading it. In between the receptionist had called her once informing her about the call from her home, As she had deliberately switched off her phone so they must would have called in the hospital to know about her where abouts, she thought. It was almost quater to nine when she thought of going back home. She packed her stuff and left for Murty Villa.

Here everyone had finished their dinner. Neyonika tried calling Nandini but unfortunately her phone was switches off. She then called in the hospital and got to know that she was stuck in emergency. This was what Nandini had asked the receptionist to say. She then informed everyone about it and settled her self among all.

Neyonika - Abhimanyu beta isvakt konsa kaam hota hai hospital mey?? Jhan tk mey jaanti hu nandu 8 bje se late nae aate.
(Somewhere Abhi had guessed the reason but then there was a possibility of emergency so he chucked his thought and answered)

Abhimanyu- haa aunty uske shift 7:00 bje tk ke he hote hai. But i guess koe emergency aagae hoge. May be koe aur doctor available na ho toh vo rukgae hoge.
(Neyonika nodded).

Mukti- bhai.... Bhai suno na....(she poked Manik who was sitting on the floor with his head on Nyeonika's lap). Bhai suno bhe na...

Manik- kya hai Mukti... Kyu pareshan krrae hai. Thodi deer shanti se beth. (He was irritated as he did not see nandini after their small encounter in the morning).

Mukti- bhai... Please suno na mere baat.

Manik- bol(he said being irked).

Mukti- bhai mujhe ice cream khani hai leke aao na please... Preety please(she said making puppy faces).

Nayva- haa Cabir hmara bhe mn hai. Leke aao na.

Alya- emmm... Guys mujhe bhe khani hai. Dhruv......

Ram- jao bacho tum log thoda ghuum aao. Subha se sb apne mey lge hue ho thoda refreshment bhe hojaega.

Abhimanyu- pr uncle nandu?? Vo abhi tk aae nae hai... Uske bina hmsb log??

Manik- i second you Abhi(he spoke out of where. Now all of them were looking at him. Composing himself he spoke). I mean agar vo piche se aagae toh use lgega ke hmlog usse chodkr akele chalegae.

Navya- tum sae kehrae ho Manik. Aur hme bahar bhe nae jaana. Aap log ghr he leaao na.

Cabir- chl Manik uth. Hmlog chalte hai. Aur kisi ko chalna hai??

Mukti- haa mey bhe jaunge. Mujhe jana hai.

Cabir- haa haa tu piche kyu rahege(he mumered).

Mukti- kuch kaha tune(she said suspiciously)

Cabir- nae nae Mukti devi, hmare itni mjaal ke hm aapko kuch kahe. Katae he nae(he spoke dramatically).

Manik- kitna drama krte ho yrrr tum log. Thakte nae ho kya!!

Abhimanyu- acha aunty ab mey bhe chalta hu. Kl milenge. He side hugged mukti and wishing everybody night left.

Here Manik, Cabir and Mukti left to buy ice cream for all and on the other side Nandini returned back home.

Nyeonika- are nandu aagae tu.( She saw her entering. She smiles at everyone and then again looked at Neyonika) Aaj kitna late hogaya. Chl jldi se hath muh dho le mey khana lgati hu.

Nandini- nae Nyoma. Mujhe bhook nae hai. Vo actually thodi deer pehle he kuch snacks khae thay ek friend ke sath toh tummy full hai. Bs ab mujhe soona hai . I'm really tired today.

Navya- are nandu thodi deer betho na hmare pass. Phir chali jana soone. Raat bhar soona he toh hai.

Karan- jaane do Navya. She must be tired after all vo subha se kaam krrae thi thak gae hoge. Why would she case ke ghr pr uske family bhe hai. (Saying this he got up to leave).

Ram- yeh kya baat hue Karan. Tum guriya se ese baat kyu krrae ho. Mafi maag abhi usse.

Nandini- please don't argue because of me. I'm sorry bhai. Good night guys. Good night Nyoma (she smiles faintly and left).

She entered her room and tears which were on the verge to fall came out. She took her change and went to freshen up.

Here downstairs

Ram was shouting on Karan for talking to his princess rudely.

Karan- oooo.... Please dad for god's sake stop taking her side always. She is not only the one to loose mom and Amms . If she has lost her family then we are equally in pain. I lost my wife and unborn child too dad that is not less than any disaster to me. But I'm here with you all. Atleast I'm sitting with you all.

Neyonika - beta emergency thi. Jesa usne kaha nae toh jaan bhujkr thodi esa krege.

Karan- please aunty atleast for once stop taking her side.
(Saying this he left).

This whole conversation was heard by Manik, Cabir and Mukti who had just returned.

Cabir- are yrr. Ab kya hogya. Sb ka mood off hai. Chlo chlke dekhte hai.
(They nodded and entered).
Are sb itna shant kyu bethe ho yrr. Yeh lo aunty ice cream sb ke lia. Vese nandu kha hai?? Vapis aagae kya??

Anurag- haa Cabir vo aagae. Thak gae thi isi lia soone chalegae (he answered on behalf on Neyonika).

They thought Manik, Cabir and Mukti were unaware of the rift so decided to keep num.

Nandini 's room

She came out of the washroom. Her eyes were puffy indicating how much she would have cried. She took out the sleeping pills and gulped down 2-3 tablets in a go.

Nandini 's POV

I wanted to avoid such situation. This was the reason i was not willing to come back home. I know bhai you are equally in pain. Atleast you had dad by your side, atleast he was there with you all the time and I'm sure he would have understood your pain too. After all he too lost his wife. But i had none bhai.

Thinking all this she sleeps. Here downstairs everyone dispersed to their rooms. Making sure everyone slept, Manik enters Nandini's room which by luck was unlocked. He saw her sleeping with frowns. He sat beside her. He saw her eyes which were puffy, cheeks had marks of tears. He started caressing her hair.

Manik- i know how bad you felt Nandini when Karan bhai talked to you in that way. I'll make sure that you two settle your grudges soon nandini. I had promised you to return back your happiness and i will for sure. You think i can't se that you are keeping yourself away from all. Atleast i know you this much nandini.... Today too you have taken those pills 'cz the way you are sleeping says everything.

He took out those pills from the side drawer and kept them in his pocket. He kisses her forehead and creased her frowns and went back.
