Sometimes
the clear and vivid shine
of silver salty moonlight on a brackish black
lake is mine.
Sometimes
a blaring yellow blur of sun
will come
and dim the stars in my
watery-colored wash of sky.
Sometimes
the green pastoral grasses blend
for me in hue
to yellow wheat white stratus cloud
to firmamental blue
Sometimes
ruddy ginger luminanci
fade or dye to purpley pink;
I create the dawn of twilight
with my ever-chaning eye.
