Okay, first off, my friend posted the last chapter before I had any desire in finishing it.  Sorry about that, by the way.  This chapter ought to be much longer, maybe four pages if I'm up to it.

"Louis, why did you let her talk to him?" Madeline hissed at Louis, catching him off guard.  They were walking down a side walk to Louis' flat.  They were intending on visiting Charlotte.  Louis glanced down at Maddie, instantly feeling guilty for lying to her.

"She convinced me of it.  Niall misses her, the lot of us misses her," he added, giving her an innocent look -- or as innocent as he could muster while lying.

"You keep using the phrase 'the lot of us'.  Are you in a gang or something.  Should I know something about you?"  Maddie gestured to his outdoor getup.  He wore a grey hoodie with the hood up and a pair of thick black sunglasses.

"No, love, we're just a group of friends.  Their's me, Niall, Zayn, Harry, and Liam."  Madeline scrunched her face up, trying to figure out where she had heard the name Liam before.  The thought came crashing down on her like a ton of bricks.

"My friend Brianna was convinced her first born son would be name Liam when she was eleven. She was obsessed with that name."  Maddie grinned, imagining her friend beaming at her in the lunch line, telling her about how her family would be perfect with a son named Liam.

"Ah, that's lovely.  She didn't enjoy the name Niall then, did she?"  Maddie grinned.

"No, but she was always talking about how she wanted a full fledged catholic Irish man.  She wanted someone to support her abstinence.  I think she's lying about... Niall and her doing... it.  She was pretty big on the whole idea."  Madeline grinned up at Louis, surprised that she was so comfortable talking about herself and her friend in front of him.

"Yeah, Niall is a virgin," Louis blurted out, instantly regretting it.  Madeline rolled her eyes.

"Even better for Brianna.  She's always been self conscious about her virginity.  It's cool though, she can do whatever she wants and I'll support it."  Madeline smiled.

Louis reached down and grasped Maddie's hand.  "I think it's nice you have friends that close.  The guys and I met a few years back, so we're not brothers or anything like you and Bri are sisters." Louis smiled mentally at himself.  I used her friend's nickname again!

"You guys were close, huh.  She usually hates it when people call her Bri.  She likes to go by Jane sometimes."  Maddie smiled up at him, "She lets me call her Bri, so I guess it's a circle of friendship."

I've been living on a moonshadow, oh, I've been living on a moonshadow, moon shadow moon shadow.  Maddie's phone rang, signaling that Brianna was calling.

"Hey," Madeline said, somewhat annoyed.  They had just left her hotel room, what could she possibly want?

"Maddie, I need to talk to Lou, I lost his number," Brianna hastily explained.  Madeline heard sounds of traffic and she realized Brianna was no longer in her hotel room.

"It's for you," Maddie said with a grin, handing the phone out for Louis to take.  Louis obliged and held the phone up to his ear.

"'Ello, Bri, what can I do you for?"

"How does Niall have my cell number?  He's been calling none stop after you two left!"  Louis grinned mischievously.

"I gave it to him.  Now, be a good ex-girlfriend and answer his calls."  Louis hung up the phone before he heard her growls of protest.  "Brianna is such a charmer, isn't she?" Louis noted, gingerly handing Madeline back her cell.
