"Yes. You!!!!" one of them said. Wow. Who are these guys? I feel a huge grin on my face and blush a little.

"Aw... she's blushing!!!" the one why curly brown hair said.

"So,ladies. I have an announcement." my mom starts not giving me time to respond.

"As you can see we have guests. They are One Direction. They leave for their Wold Tour in a month and need a group a dancers to perform with them. Today is your audition. So we'll ju-"

"Actually. That won't be necessary. We decided we only want one dancer. We would love for her to tour with us." The one with brown floppy hair said pointing at me. I about pissed myself. This simply cannot be real.

"Me?" I ask shocked yet again.

"If we knew your name you wouldn't have to keep asking ya know." the blond said in an Irish accent. I look around before I answer to make sure I'm not about to embarrass myself.

"I'm Ch-"

"That's Lottie. But are you sure? We have so many amazing dancers." Mom immediately interrupts me. I sigh and go to find my water. Not even my mom thinks I'm worth anything. I guess I'm not really. I'm just the girl in the back. I'm really lucky to even have the back.

But no one remembers the dancer in the background. No one remembers the girl at school with bags under her eyes. The girl they call ugly. No one remembers me. Who would want to? I'm just another painful memory people try to forget.

I find my water and drink half of it while my mom continues to explain the audition process. I guess since Mom already pointed out how horrible I am, I'll just go.

I decide that I'm not done dancing for the day. I head out the back towards the old studio. It the original building my mom had. It only has one room and no one ever comes back here. This is where I go when my mom tells me I'm not good enough. I head out here so I can dance without embarrassing myself. I usually work on whatever technique I failed at that day. As I drag myself out the back door I bump into someone. I land on the concrete on my hands in knees. I look up to see who could possibly be back here to see one of the five boys. It's the one with a black quiff.

He immediately takes my hands to help me up. I'm so embarrassed. I literally can't do anything. Why'd I have to run straight into him? And he was so nice before...

"Shit" he says. Great, I've disappointed him.

"I'm so sorry. I should paid more attent-"

"No it was all my fault. Now you've scraped your hands. and- Oh my god, your knees!! Now how will you dance?" He was worried about me? But why?

"I'll be alright. No big deal." I say.

"No big deal? Look! You're already getting a bruise."

"What are you doing back here. Not trying to be mean but-" he holds up a cigarette and I get the picture.

"Your turn. Why aren't you in there amazing everyone with your talent?" he asks.

"What talent? I can't even convince my mom of my ability." I say.

"I'm sure your mom supports you in your decisions...I mean what you did in there was beautiful. What doesn't your mom see?" he asks innocently.

"Didn'y you hear her? She completely blew off the idea of me getting a solo. I'll never be good enough."

"What?"

"Were you not in there?"

"Wait. That was your mom? I thought it was just your teacher that was jealous of you..." he admits.

"I wish I whisper before heading off to the old building.

I still don't know his name... but he knows more about me than anyone else. He actually talked to me. He asked questions and waited for the answers... that's never happened to me before. What's happening?

(Back in the studio)

Niall POV

We sit through countless dances. None of them even compare to Lottie though. I just wasn't interested. When we had first walked in I heard Give Me Love. That has got to be one of my favorite songs to play on my guitar. I was eager to see what was happening so I ran to open the door before knocking or meeting whoever we were supposed to.

The other lads followed and we all stopped in the door frame. It was the most amazing thing.

There were at least fifteen girls on this huge dance floor and Give Me Love was blaring. Every dancer moved in different directions. They moved around each other.Like clockwork they never stopped. It was one continuous movement and there was this strong energy in the room. I wonder how they never ran into each other. It was like the could sense each other's movement. Then one girl stopped dancing and saw us.

She must have recognized us because she tapped her friend to point at us. Soon everyone in the room in the room was staring at us. That is except one dancer. She kept going, seemingly oblivious to anything else. As she did some turn thing I looked up to see all the other lads watching her too. The energy was still there even though it was just her.

When she landed, you could see the emotion on her face. It was so obvious that she understood the song. She told a beautiful story.

Suddenly the music stops and so does she. Only then does she see us. She looks confused and looks to lady who stopped the music. I'm guessing she's in charge.

By this point Louis and Harry are clapping. Soon I join in and once Liam and Zayn get over the shock of her awesomeness, and begin to cheer. The girl looks so lost. She adorably looks around like she doesn't know we are clapping for her. She finally asks,

"Why are you clapping?"

We all start telling her how amazing she is. She looks flattered and begins to blush. Yup, she's our dancer. The teacher starts talking but we all look at each other and nod. We all agree she's the one.
