If you read No Regrets this was supposedly going to be the song my main character: Serena created, but it is more poem-like than an actual song. Btw it's kind off depressing.
Why?
She looked at me with love, but she told me she doesn't.
She kissed me during a game and told me she was sorry.
She lured me towards her heart but didn't open.
Always reaching for her love, but never gotten.
She always afraid of loving when she was loved.
Why oh why wouldn't she open up?
It was the scars that sealed her heart.
Cuddles and kisses, all friendly she told me.
Seeking for comfort and love, only with me.
Love for me, but escape for her.
Why oh why wouldn't she open up?
Was there another that got her heart?
She looked at me with pain but told me she was not.
My love for her was nothing but a game, cruel and just a thought.
I screamed at her in anger, and I regretted that forever.
Why oh why wouldn't she open up?
She doesn't like me, I should give up.
My heart is still beating for her to love.
Yet, now it's dead.
Why oh why wouldn't she open up?
I cried.
With tears over her face and blood down her wrist, she looked at me with love and then told me she was.
