~Chapter Four~

Me and Robby were walking back to my house after inviting our school friends to my golden birthday party, when I felt something brush up against my back, almost to the point where it would knock we off my feet. I turned around and saw a pair of gleaming emerald eyes, staring at me. It was my other best friend Mina, her spirit animal is a black panther.

"Oh my days Mina, please stop, you made me jump", she turned back to her normal self. She had jet black hair, pale skin and emerald green eyes. Her hair waved in the wind so beautifully I sometimes wished I was her.

"Sorry" she said "whachya guys doing?"

"We were just walking back to mine, we invited all our friends to my party tonight."I replied.

"Am I invited?" She said sweetly.

"Duh," I said jokingly, "you don't even need an invitation". She had some sort of mischievous look on her face.

"Are you inviting Isaac?" She finally asked me,

"Why does everyone keep on pressuring me?" I said, "fine, just so everyone will shut up, I'm going to his house now." At first they both looked shocked,  then they looked at each other and grabbed each of my arms, running and pulling me in Isaac's direction.

It must of been at least two minutes before working up the courage of ringing the doorbell.  All of a sudden, Mina runs onto the porch, rings the doorbell, grabs Robby and hides behind a bush. I scowl at her before the door opened. I turned around to see a pair of shimmering, deep blue eyes. He had light skin, a small but sweet smile and a muscly body.

"Hey Kayleigh, happy birthday! what are you doing here?" He asked.

"H-hi Isaac," I said nervously, " um, do you want to, um, come to my, um, golden party tonight,"

He looked at me and said "oh me? Um, yeah sure, of course, I'd love to come!" Inside I was doing backflips under fireworks, but on the outside I kept my cool.

"I will see you tonight then," I said.

"I'll be looking forward to it" he closed the door.

I couldn't help jumping in the air like an idiot before I  heard laughter from behind me. I totally forgot that they were behind the bushes. I couldn't help but laugh with them. We walked back to my house to get ready for my one and only 16th birthday party.

I couldn't wait to see what my spirit animal was.
