~Chapter Seven~
A golden eagle, with yellow eyes flew into my room and woke me up. It was my big brother Jonathan.
"Time for school," he changed back into himself again. "Your breakfast is on the table."
I live with my brother, and not my parents, he is like a dad to me as my parents left to go and live in France for the best part of four years now.
I got ready for school and left the house. On the way down my road I met up with Robby and Mina. We walked to school together and I told them all about what my dream was like, and how I loved my spirit animal. When we got to school we separated to go to our form classes, mine was with Mina, but Robby had a different class. We went through our first three lessons, and then it was lunch time. I lined up in the canteen to get my lunch, I looked around while I was waiting and saw Mina and Robby sitting on a table together, just about to start eating their food, but i had other plans of where to sit today.
I finally got out of the queue and spotted Isaac looking for a table, I rushed over to him with my tray in my hands.
"Hi Isaac!"
"Oh, hi little one" he replied. I giggled.
"So you wanted to know what my spirit animal was?"
"Yes, sooooo..."
" I got a wolf!"
" let's see it then" he asked me. So I turned into my she wolf to show him, it wasn't embarrassing because there were spirit animals all over the canteen so it was alright.
"Wow, a-m-a-z-i-n-g." He said, gazing into my she wolfs eyes, I gazed back. Then I realised what I was doing and turned back to normal and looked at the ground to hide my blush. " So Kayleigh, I was wondering if you wanted to come to my golden birthday party next week?" He asked timidly, it was cute that he was shy. I just remembered his birthday was almost a week after mine.
"Of course I will come!" I answered.
"Great" he said. I noticed his hand was holding mine and my palm started sweating, so I let go and turned around,
"See you then, bye"
"Bye Kayleigh".
I went to sit on the table with Mina and Robby, who were nearly finished their lunch, and told them where I was going on Saturday.
