~Chapter Six~
I walked over towards my bed and flopped onto it, I was so tired but too exited to feel it, I really wanted to find out what my spirit animal was and to meet Isaac again the next day, so I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
The dream finally started. I was walking through a landscape that had snow and quite a lot of trees. I assumed it was some woods in the middle of winter, but I wasn't cold. The remaining leaves from fall were crunching beneath my feet on every step I took, but that didn't distract me. There was loads of fog, it was so misty I couldn't see a thing, so I just carried on walking forward, trying to keep my step. Suddenly, I saw a pair of greyish green eyes, just like mine in real life. I was intrigued at the sight of them, so I stepped slowly towards the creature. I carefully stuck out my hand, between my fingers there was soft, quite long fur, my hand instantly felt warmed, obviously this animals fur kept it heated during this winter. I saw something subtle moving. It was the mist and fog, was I really just going to see my spirit animal? All of the clouds moved and it was revealed to me. The animal that I had just seen the eyes of, and touched the fur of was a, Winter Wolf. Finally! I know what my spirit animal is! It was so beautiful. It was a she wolf, with grey fur on her back and white on her belly. Her slightly damp nose rubbed against the apple of my cheek. Then something amazing happened. The she wolf walked 'into' me, almost like she was becoming me, or I was becoming her. I felt warmth in my heart, that must me the golden dragon with the colour stone, just like my grandfather once told me. His spirit animal was a jaguar, he was a very fast runner when he was a teenager, so it definitely fits him. I guess ours are sort of similar.
I woke up. But not as my human self, as my spirit animal, my wolf. It was amazing! I could leap, I could climb, I could howl. It was like I had been her all my life. I turned back into my normal human being, and hopped back into bed so the morning came quicker. All I wanted to do now was see Isaac again.
