**** This story is based on the movie of How to Train Your Dragon****

One minute dragons did not exist in this world. The next minute a flash of light flew across the sky. It was the dawn of dragons on earth. At first the dragons battled the Vikings, until one boy whose name was Hiccup appeared. Hiccup wanted to be like his father, Stoick. During one of the Night battles, Hiccup captured a Night Fury. A Night Fury is a dragon that uses the night for cover, flies up to 300 miles per hour, and while flying these speeds the dragon shoots so accurately that it never misses a single shot at all. In the morning, Hiccup set off to search for the dragon. Soon, he came upon the Night Fury; as he raised his dagger to kill it, the dragon looked up at Hiccup. Then Hiccup decided not to kill the dragon and set it free. As soon as the dragon was free, it took off and eventually landed in a naturally made bowl. Soon the dragon earned the name Toothless. Toothless and Hiccup bonded until the day of the final trial. In this trial, Hiccup was supposed to kill a dragon called Monstrous Nightmare. This dragon is extremely dangerous and it could light itself on fire without dying. Back in the bowl, Toothless sensed Hiccup in danger and came to his rescue. Stoick was furious with Hiccup because of Toothless and he chained the dragon on his ship. He used the Night Fury to lead the Vikings to the Dragon nest. Back at the Viking village, Hiccup and his training buddies Astrid, Michael, Markus, Kyle, Justin, Rachel and Mary saddled up all the dragons they fought in training. No sooner had they arrived, and the dragon queen started attacking the Vikings. Hiccup, who was riding with Astrid on the Deadly Nadder jumped from the dragon onto Stoick's ship to free Toothless. Finally, when Toothless was free, Hiccup climbed aboard Toothless' back, into the saddle, and took off to the sky luring the big dragon. Hidden among the clouds, Hiccup and Toothless attacked the dragon, making the dragon angry. Right after, the dragon defended itself by shooting fire in circles. Next, they flew downward and the angry dragon followed them. At just the right moment, Toothless spun around and shot one last fire ball into the dragon's open mouth setting the dragon on fire. Then the dragon smashed onto the island. Soon the fire burned out, and Stoick searched for Hiccup. He only found Toothless, who looked up and opened his wings revealing Hiccup who had lost a leg. The next morning when he woke up, he found Toothless in his house.

"Toothless! What are you doing here?" exclaimed Hiccup. As Hiccup climbed out of bed, he noticed his leg was missing and a stone leg replaced it. He stood up out of bed and he walked toward the door stumbling. When he first stumbled, Toothless helped him the rest of the way. The whole village was waiting outside his house and the air was full of dragons.

One of the villagers spotted them standing outside and shouted "Look! There's Hiccup and Toothless!" The village looked up. The village surrounded the hero. Then they quickly defused because the Monstrous Nightmare walked up with the other dragons. Suddenly, out of the blue, an enormous dragon appeared; the dragon's name was Annabelle. She was the guardian of the village. The sight of the dragon caused Hiccup to faint. A couple days later, he opened his eyes again and saw that he was in the old dragon nest. He was alone with Toothless and he instantly climbed onto his back started toward the Viking Village but Toothless turned around and headed back to the nest. Nine years later when Hiccup was twenty years old, Toothless left him alone and returned nine days later. He noticed Hiccup was not in the nest. While Toothless searched around the nest, Hiccup was down at the water front swimming laps. When he returned to the nest he saw Toothless. Hiccup then climbed upon Toothless' back and began the long tiring journey back to the village. Upon his arrival, he landed at his house and slept through the rest of the night in his home. In the morning as he woke up he saw all his friends standing around his bed. Astrid asked the others to leave them alone.
