I walked into the same Starbucks and look around the corner for Patrick. I sigh and order my coffee from a teenage girl with green hair who is definitely not Patrick.
"Hey Mere—" I hear that oh so familiar voice cut through the front. He's cut off when he sees me. "You actually came," He seemed surprised that I'm too good for my own soulmate.
"I'd be stupid not to. I'd fly a million miles if it meant getting to see your beautiful face." Patrick blushes really hard and the barista is standing there very awkwardly.
"Shut Up you don't even know me." He tries to hid his smile, but soulmates are soulmates. "Meredith I'm going on break," He said to the barista, Meredith.
She nods and he takes off his apron and types something into the register. He comes and joins me at my small booth in the corner. He sits down awkwardly like he doesn't know what to say. "I've been waiting so damn long for this, it's not even funny," I tell him, he smiles.
"Me too."
That was short, but I really got to finish some of these old fics. Also a week ago today I saw FOB in Chicago AND I met Meredith and Spencer Smith, though I didn't get a pic with Spencer.
