Author's POV-
Jungkook showed up to school with bruises all over him. Teachers asked him what happened but, he just said he fell down. That's how he always replied.
Jungkook never told anyone about the abuse he received at home. He even found out yesterday that the woman he called mom wasn't his actual mom.
It was one of his fathers girlfriends. They faked all of it. Even the court dates and papers. The woman he trusted on getting him out of this hell, wasn't actually helping him.
She was making it worse for getting his hopes up. He'd never felt more hurt than he did right now. He loved her with all his heart but she didn't feel the same.
He pictured them living together happily. Just the two of them, away from the bastard that he used to call dad. Now all of that came crashing down in his head. He was never going to be free. He was never going to be happy.
That's all he wanted was to feel happy. Even for one day. He doesn't care if his father beats him up the day after. He wants to feel the adrenaline rush of being happy. He wants to be his younger self again.
"Jungkook?" Jimin asked. Jungkook looked up, his bangs flopping to the side. "What happened to you?" Taehyung questioned.
"I..I just fell down. Nothing too serious." Jungkook said dully. They all looked at him worriedly. "..Alright. Kookie tell me what's wrong." Taehyung begged.
"I just told you. I fell." He looked down. Taehyung sighed and nodded while Jimin looked at the boy.
*after school*
Jungkook quickly ran up to his room and locked the door. He didn't hear his father so he had to make this quick.

He sat on his bed and drug the blade across his skin. "One for being so stupid, two for being so oblivious, three for just being yourself." He cried and cried.
He threw the blade on the ground and clung to himself as if he was about to die.
Nobody loves you.
You don't even know your mom.
Why do you think she left you?
You ruined their marriage.
You're worthless.
Piece of shit.
"Stop! Stop it please!" Jungkook screamed, covering his ears. He ran out of his room and out the front door. He ran straight to Jimin's house.
He pounded on the door. "What the- Jungkook?!" Jungkook threw himself into Jimin's chest. "What's wrong Kookie?" No answer. The only reply he got was sobs.
"It's alright Kookie. I'm here for you."
