Rainy Night

This whole story will be from Jaden's perspective.

    The party I threw according to my guests was amazing! People started to clear out but as it did, it started to rain. Everyone either had a ride, or there House was really close by. There was only one who remained at my place by the end, my crush Yusei. He walked 3 miles to get here, and now it was pouring.

I went over to the couch where he was sitting and looking out the window, watching the rain fall,"Hey Yusei, you can stay the night if you want." I was luckily able to keep the blush off my cheeks, I didn't want him walking in the rain and possibly getting sick, especially with how dark it was already, he could get hit by a car. "Are you sure? I was gonna wait for the rain to die down and then I was gonna be on my way," He looked at me with his Cobalt blue eyes, full of uneasiness. Is he afraid of the rain or something? "Yeah I'm sure! There's no need for you to head home and risk getting sick or getting hit by a car," A bolt of lightning struck across the sky, and I jumped and squealed a bit, frightened by the sudden flash and the loud noise. "Jaden, you ok?" Yusei looked at me with concerned eyes. I turned away from him, embarrassed that I still have the fear I did from when I was little. I felt two arms gently wrap around me, the grip was not to tight but it was not loose. I turned my head to see Yusei's Head on my shoulder, "I just thought that you needed a hug," My face turned bright red, but I didn't push him away, instead I laid my head on his chest. I could hear his heartbeat. I felt him put his head on top of mine.

"Jaden can I tell you something?" I heard his heartbeat speed up. "Sure," I said, snuggling more into his chest. "Jaden, I have kinda had a crush on you for quite some time now. I have been waiting for the right time to tell you, when we both would be alone. You are a cute, energetic, kind, loving person, and you are the light in my darkness. I have fallen for you, flat on my face. I love you Jaden," He Gently turned my head towards his and he kissed me, right then and there. I was surprised at first, but I melted into the kiss. I was sharing my first kiss ever, with the one that I loved. When we broke, I smiled at him and said ,"I had a crush on you for a long time, I fell for you when I first saw you. You are a strong, kind, cool and collected person, and I wanna know more about you. I love you as well." I looked up at his eyes, another bolt of lightning broke out across the sky, I immediately hugged him tight, scared by the lightning. I felt him stroking my back, and he started to hum, a thousand years. I started to calm down, listening to him hum. I started to fall asleep there in his arms, I didn't want this moment to end, me being with him. I felt him kiss my forehead, he then said ,"I'll always protect you Jaden, no matter what happens." I let the wave of darkness take over me, pulling me into the sea of sleep.

I woke up the next morning in my bed, but two arms were around me. I looked behind me to find Yusei, peacefully sleeping. I snuggled closer to him, letting him sleep. I guess that wasn't a dream I had, it was real. Yusei actually loved me, for me. I started to doze off again, Yusei's strong arms around me. I felt safe as I went back to sleep.
