Bet to Win His Heart

Third Date: Shouto

'Why am I so nervous? I know it's my crush, but still? I never this nervous.' Shouto thought as he walked up to Izuku's house.

He took a deep breath before knocking on the door. He waited a few moments till the door burst open.

"Hiya Todo-kun!" Izuku greeted. "What're you doing here?"

"I-I was hoping we could go to the amusement park that just opened up." Shouto said, silently cursing that he stuttered.

"Sure! It sounds like fun!" Izuku smiled.

'God he's an angel.' Shouto thought, trying to control the flames that sprouted from his left side.

"T-Todo-kun! Y-you're on fire!" Izuku exclaimed, panicking as he didn't know what to do.

Shouto calmed the flames before being tackled into a hug. Izuku buried his face in Shouto's chest, hugging the taller male tightly.

"Let's go!" Izuku smiled up at Shouto, letting go and tugging on his arm like an eager little kid.

A smile found it's way on Shouto's face as he complied with the greenette.

"Oh, that reminds me. I brought a motorbike with me, seeing as the amusement park it far away." Shouto said, causing Izuku to stop.

"Shouto walked over to his motorbike and grabbed two helmets. Tossing one to Izuku, he hopped on.

"Let's go." He said.

Izuku didn't budge.

"What's wrong?" Shouto asked.

"L-last time I was on a motorbike, I almost broke arm." Izuku stuttered.

Shouto hopped off and walked over to Izuku, pulling him into a hug.

"Do you trust me?" Shouto asked.

"C-course I do!" Izuku replied, returning the hug. "I trust you."

"Then please get on with me. I'll make sure you don't get hurt."

"O-ok."

Shouto got back on the motorbike with a hesitant Izuku behind him. Izuku wrapped his arms around Shouto's waist and buried his head in Shouto's back. Shouto started the bike and rode off, feeling Izuku's grip tighten.

'Holy sh*t, holy sh*t, holy sh*t, HOLY SH*T!!' Those two words kept repeating in Shouto's head. "Midoriya. Why don't you lift up your head? You'll be fine."

Izuku was hesitant at first, but, lifted his head. He peered round at the blending lights from the sun, cars and buildings. Wind blasted in his face as he looked round. His fear was replaced by interest and awe. Shouto smiled at the fact Izuku was getting used to it. After what felt like hours, they arrived at the amusement park. Shouto parked the motorbike before heading over to the entrance. He'd already bought tickets for that day so they just entered.

"What do you want to ride first?" Shouto asked.

"I'm not sure. There's just so much! I can't choose!" Izuku replied, looking round the giant park.

"How about we go on a roller-coaster?" Shouto suggested.

Izuku nodded. They made their way over to a coaster, paying for the ride before getting in. The coaster started, being pulled iup te track. Izuku held Shouto's hand tight, not wanting to let go. The coaster reached the top.

"Here we go." Shouto murmured.

The coaster shot forward, racing down the track. It curved left then right. It rocketed up, twisting over till it was upside down. Screams of happiness and fear filled the air as the coaster twisted the right way up, riding down and racing through more swirls before finally slowing down, coming to a halt. They exited the ride and found a place to rest.

"I feel like collapsing on the ground." Izuku sighed, leaning back in his chair.

"You want a drink?" Shouto asked.

"Yes please!" Izuku chirped up.

"Alright." Shouto chuckled a bit at the sudden action.

He left to a drink stand, ordering a coffee for himself and a strawberry milkshake for Izuku. He walked back over, only to find a group of people surrounding Izuku.

"What's someone like you doing here by yourself?"

"Isn't that the guy from the sports festival? The one who broke his arms?"

"He is! You did quiet well. Mind if we hang out with you?"

"We don't want you to be lonely."

"I'm sorry, but, I'm waiting for someone." Izuku replied.

"Awe, don't be like that."

"We just wanna have fun."

"Come on."

'That's it.' Shouto snapped, making his way over to the group.

He placed a hand on one of their shoulders, causing them to turn around.

"Who're you?"

Shouto flipped the person over into the ground. He leaned down.

"You're messing with my date," He murmured before standing up straight. "You all better leave now."

"Oh yeah? Why would we do tha-"

Shouto cut him off by sending ice straight at him. They took a step back.

"Leave." Shouto spat.

They all shuddered as they ran off. Shouto turned back to Izuku who had caught the drinks he dropped.

"Thanks Todo-kun." He smiled.

Shouto just pet his hair. He took his drink back and they sat in silence, finishing their drinks quickly. They ran around the amusement park, buying Cotton Candy, donuts, crepes and other such sweets. They went on more roller-coasters, bumper cars, even watched a magic show. By the time the show finished, it was closing time. They left the park, hand in hand. They hopped on Shouto's motorbike and rode off.

"I had a lot of fun today, Todo-kun. Thank you so much." Izuku said, tightening his grip around Shouto's waist.

"I'm glad." Shouto murmured.

They parked outside Izuku's house and hopped off. They hugged before going their separate ways. When Shouto reached his house, he headed straight upstairs, ignoring his father. Flopping on his bed, he took out his phone and sent a text.

Half&Half: Date's over

ZapZapB*tch: How'd it go?

EmoBird: Why are you always the first to respond?

Half&Half: Went well. Headed to the amusement park

SleepIsLife: There goes my plan

LordExplosionMurder: How'd you get there? It's hours away

RockHard: You have a motorbike, don't you?

EmoBird: He got on it? That's surprising

Half&Half: Why didn't anyone tell me he doesn't like motorbikes?

SleepIsLife: That's why he stayed away from it at that party...

ZapZapB*tch: That's surprising

RockHard: What happened?

LordExplosionMurder: I forced him to get on one and he ended up flipping and almost breaking his arm

ZapZapB*tch: Woah

SleepIsLife: Okay then...
