Bet to Win His Heart

Tokoyami walked up to Izuku's house, gulping down a large lump in his throat. He stood outside Izuku's front door for a few moments before finally knocking. He took a step back as frantic footsteps sounded inside. The door opened.

"Tokoyami-kun! What brings you here?" Izuku asked, tilting his head to the side. 'That makes 4 this week! Wonder why their doing this.'

"I, uh, was wondering if you wanted to hang out and go to an arcade or something." Tokoyami said. 'Why the hell did I say arcade?!'

"Sure! But, I didn't think you'd be the type of person to go to an arcade store. Well, the more you know!" Izuku smiled, making Tokoyami's heart skip a beat.

'He's too pure for this world.' Toko thought. "Let's go then."

They left the house and headed down the streets, making their way passed the local mall to the arcade centre. They entered and looked round for a game to play.

"Street Fighter is up? Let's play that!" Izuku said, dragging Toko half way across the arcade to said game.

Two were free, so, they sat down and started the game. They chose their fighters, Izuku being Ryu while Tokoyami was Gen. The fight started and they kept hitting, dodging and doing special moves. It was down to the last round.

"You're going down, Tokoyami-kun." Izuku said as he activated a special move.

"I won't go down that easily." Toko replied, using his own special attack.

Their attacks hit each other, knocking them both out. The words 'Tie Breaker' appeared on the screen. Their characters were revived and standing. They fought one last long battle, trying to survive the longest, till finally, it finished.

"Damn. I lost." Tokoyami sighed. 'Well, at least it was fun. And I lost to my crush, so, it's fine.'

"Yeah! That was a great battle!" Izuku cheered.

Dark Shadow just had to come out and ruin the moment, well, at least for Tokoyami.

"Why don't ya just admit that you had fun? I sure did watching you lose." He said.

"Why don't you ever leave me alone." Toko murmured, facepalming.

"Awe. But Dark Shadow is fun to have around," Izuku said, petting Dark Shadow. "I quite like him."

'Guess that's one step closer.' Toko thought.

They went round the arcade some more, playing games such as Pac-Man, Space Invader, Centipede, Donkey Kong, Mortal Kombat, Tetris and even Pong. Though, they'd spent a lot of money trying to beat a lot of those games. They played the whole afternoon before finally leaving around 4pm. They entered a little cafe and found a table.

"That was fun. We should do this again some time." Izuku smiled.

"Yeah. I would like that." Tokoyami agreed.

"You would like that, wouldn't you, lover boy." Dark Shadow said, murmuring the last part to Tokoyami.

"Just leave me alone for five minutes." Tokoyami sighed.

Izuku just chuckled at that.

"Are you ready to order, sirs?" A waitress came by.

"Yes. Could I get a latte with lots of sugar please?" Izuku asked.

"Certainly. And you?"

"Just a coffee, thanks." Tokoyami said.

"Alright. I'll be back with your drinks in a few minutes."
