Jungkook was searching for right clothes for the date with Dahyun.
"You're really going on a date?" His mother asked him for the third time.
"Yes mom" He replied shyly.
"With a girl?" She asked again.
"Oh my god mom why would you think I am going on a date with a boy?" Jungkook whined. His family always bully him in a friendly way.
"I don't know. You seem pretty close to that Dummy Trio." She said referring Tae, Jin and Jimin.
"No wait. It is not a trio since you're dummy too. Dummy Quad." She said munching on a chocochip which SHE NEVER SHARES WITH ANYONE.
"Mom!" Jungkook squeezed his eyes in disbelief.
'Why did I even tell her?'
But then again Jungkook wasn't the kind of boy to hide things from his family.
"So who is she?" She asked again.
"Dahyun" he replied shortly.
"Kim Dahyun? Boy you got lucky. She got lucky too. She is pretty but your prettier." She said nodding. She knew Dahyun was a good girl when Jungkook had introduced her several years back.
"But try not dating your friends. If it ends badly, you and Dahyun will be frenemies." She was satisfied on her knowledge.
"Mom please stop." Jungkook begged his mother who was in no mood to stop.
"So where are you taking her?" She asked.
"She is taking me somewhere. I don't know where though." He said still scavenging his closet.
"She is taking you out? What is happening to today's generation? I still remember when your dad was head over heels for me. He didn't even let me carry my bag. Well he has changed now. But the point I want to make is that I am done with these 'new generation' things. I am now going to listen to Michael Jackson and practice my moonwalking. Good luck with your date." She walked out making sure she didn't drop any of her chocochips.
Jungkook hummed not listening to the speech his mother gave. He finally found the perfect outfit and locked the room to get ready. He couldn't wait for his first date.
Jungkook's mother is swaeg.
Be happy and be safe.
