The Way I Love You || Jeon Jungkook & Kim Dahyun

This part is going to be a little longer than usual.

"Keep walking. We haven't got the entire day." Dahyun cheered herself, drank water are started walking again.

"Just give me your bag." Jungkook insisted again but Dahyun denied.

"No. It is not that heavy." She replied, "and we are not that far."

"You have been saying that since forever." Jungkook said and reached for her bag which was on her shoulder, "Let me take it."
He slipped her bag from her shoulder and she was too shocked to deny him.

"It is more heavy than you say it is." He said chuckling.

"Thank you." She smiled at him and for a second Jungkook forgot to breathe. He was so in love.

"Lets go now. The darkness is approaching." Dahyun said and started walking in front of Jungkook.

It took them two hours, two tiring hours and now they were finally here.

"Tada" Dahyun said dramatically.

"What is this place?" Jungkook asked tilting his head. All he could see was a lake.

"I know this is not perfect. But this is the place where my grandma used to bring me when I was small. She said that she found her true love here." Dahyun said faintly.
Jungkook knew what Dahyun's grandma meant to her and how depressed she was when her grandma passed away.

"It is really beautiful." Jungkook said to comfort her.

"I know it isn't. Because we are late. We missed the sunset." Dahyun pouted and Jungkook felt really bad.

"But its alright. The real beauty isn't the sunset anyway." Dahyun said and smiled.

"Then what is the real beauty?" Jungkook asked again.

"You'll see." Dahyun repeated this for the nth time, "help me to put up the tent?" Dahyun asked and he nodded.

They had set up the tent and ate the homemade 'mac and cheese' that Dahyun's mom made and now they were getting ready to sleep.

Jungkook was really confused of what was happening but he was also really comfortable and happy.

Who knew they would be so comfortable with each other on their first date?

"Umm you can sleep here and I'll sleep outside." Jungkook told Dahyun respecting her as a girl. Also he wasn't ready to sleep with her in one tent.

"Oh there is no need for that. I stole one of my room's bedsheets so we can just divide the tent." Dahyun was prepared as you can see.

They had put up the bedsheets and the tent was ready for them to sleep.

"Goodnight then." Jungkook was about to go sleep when Dahyun grabbed his hand.

"What do you mean goodnight?" Dahyun asked angrily which scared Jungkook.

"W-what happened?" He asked nervously.

"The date hasn't even started yet and you're going to sleep already?" Dahyun asked in a sad voice.

"Hmm?" Was the only thing that came out of Jungkook's mouth.

Dahyun checked her wristwatch.
"Yup its time. We will have to wait now. They must be here anytime." She said making Jungkook feel more lost than he already was.

"Who will be here?" Jungkook asked again, "you'll see" was her reply again.

"Lets sit down." Dahyun made Jungkook sit and sat beside him.

They sat in silence for around ten minutes and then he saw them.

"Fireflies." Jungkook said in a tone which showed how moved he was.

"Fireflies" Dahyun said looking in his eyes which were focused on the little insects. She loved the colors his eyes showed. She loved the fact that they were more beautiful than ever.

"How? I have never seen them in real life." Jungkook said again.

"My grandma told me that we can see them here because this place is pure and the moonlight here is perfect." Jungkook's eyes were focusing on the lake which reflected the moonlight and the light by the fireflies.

"It is so beautiful. This whole scenery is beautiful." Jungkook complimented.

"Yes it is." Dahyun said looking at his expression. She smiled and reached for his hand. She took them in hers and intertwined her fingers and Jungkook did the same.

They both were enjoying their beautiful scenery and feeling their love.

Dahyun was happy to see her bunny happy.

And for Jungkook this date was perfect. There was no other way to describe it.

They went to sleep after sitting on the same spot for three hours talking about stuffs, clicking photos and enjoying each other's presence.

They next day they left early but took their sweet time.

It was a perfect first date and there was no question that there was gonna be a second one too.

This is the lamest chapter I have ever written.
