I can't believe it. Today is the day.
The day I will finally meet my mother.
The day I will get the answers I've been so desperately searching for.
I've been waiting so long for this day but now it's here I don't know how to feel.
"Good morning, how you feeling?"Claire asks as I get into her car.
"I don't know. It's weird I can't believe it's actually happening"
"Yeah me either,took you long enough to agree to it"
"Oh shut up" I laugh
"Haha, but in all seriousness I think that this will be good for you! She is so excited to see you"
"Yeah"
"Are you excited?"she questions
"A little I guess? I'm more nervous than anything"
"That's normal, I'm sure she's shitting it too"she laughs loudly, I laugh with her.

"We are here!"Claire says pulling me away from my thoughts way too soon. I'm not ready for this.
"Already?"i panic
"Yes, stop panicking it will be fine. Now come on she will be waiting on us"
We quickly get out of the car & walk across the street to the cafè we are meeting at. The closer we get the more nervous I'm becoming.
As soon as we walk into the cafè i see her. All I can see is the back of her head but I know it's her.
