Half And Half (Redo)

14# Jiryias mission

Naruto looked out at the dark sky seeing stars overhead with a small frown gracing his features, he let his hand press to his cheek and watched as a star seemingly shot across the sky. "Meliodas..." he whispered the confusion of his thoughts as he leaned out the window.

The slightly older teen was always there for him, in many ways possible. Though his way of getting his attention was quite perverse, he couldn't help but smile at all the times Meliodas decided to poke and prod at him.

However Meliodas was that of a enigma, he didn't know to much about his past... he seemed to always change the subject when anything was brought up... he looked up as the wind blew through his hair before he grabbed the window and slowly shut it... before he felt two hands creep up on his waist making him squeak.

"Yo." The voice was known making Naruto sigh. "You were late for dinner." Naruto said with a annoyed look making Meliodas look unimpressed by his look. "Punish me?" He rolled his eyes before turning around and slowly walking to his bed.

"Ass..." he muttered under his breath but Meliodas was behind him once more.. Naruto sighed before turning around only for arms to wrap around him, his eyes widening as they did.

"I'm sorry Naruto... it won't happen again." His eyes softened at the tone of voice whispered into his ear. He nodded his head before pulling away and slowly climbing into bed. "Good night Meliodas." He whispered as Meliodas walked out the door with a small smile gracing his lips.

Hiruzen sighed as he stamped another proposal from the council with a red stamp that said "denied", whatever went through the first and second hokages minds he did not know, but the council started to become a nuisence every since Minato died...

He looked up and sighed before looking over towards the window. "You can come out Jiryia-kun." From the shadows came him old student who seemingly had a small frown adoring his face.

"How was your mission?" Hiruzen asked making him sigh in sadness. "Tsunade-Hime is being difficult... her and Shizune are a wreck..." Jiryia said with annoyance making Hiruzen raise his brow. "Explain?" He scratched his head recalling his memories "well..."

"Flashback"

Jiryia walked from house to house before he finally stopped and looked over at a nearby open bar. There sat Tsunade seemingly drinking her sorrows away... Shizune also seemingly drinking as well which was a sight to see.

"Tsunade?" Said woman turned and gave the man a look of hatred before they softened.. "Jiryia..." she downed another cup of sake before turning around. "Who do I owe the pleasure to see you again." She said sarcastically.

Jiryia frowned hearing her hatred towards him. "Jiryia-sama, today is not the day." Shizune said with sadness before he could reply. He closed his mouth with a look of curiosity. "What's happened?" Shizune bit her lip before shaking her head.

"Let's just say we are looking for Orochimaru more then you were when he left... however this time I'm going to kill him. I've been training ever since that day... and he's going to to the darkest depths of Hell. Now... GO AWAY." Tsunade said with a pure rage that wouldn't be kept back by any man.

Jiryia shuddered knowing it was probably going to become a reality. "Before I leave, sensei wants you back in the village... perhaps you can train there and help train medical ninja.." He placed a scroll down next to Tsunade who seemed to look at it with possible temptation...

"I'll think about it..." before she downed another sake.

"End"

Jiryia recalled all his memories to the kage making the older man frown at the story. "Tsunade is training again? I suppose that's a good thing, her fear of blood was something holding her back.." hiruzen muttered before looking back up at his student.

"Did she give a clue as to what it was?" Jiryia shook his head with annoyance. "It was the day that was off to me... it was September 30th, Shizune said not today but it seemed to be years after... perhaps Orochimaru did something to her on the 30th?" Hiruzen frowned, he couldn't recall anything on the 30th..

"If that is all... your dismissed Jiryia-kun." The man disappeared while Hiruzrn turned around in his chair to look out the window. "What are you up to my old student..."

Tsunades past is a delicate thing, what did Orochimaru do to her to make her swear on vengeance... Will she come back to the village?
