Third person pov

The doctor walked around the console room while they were drifting in space as Oracle and kaya slept, she was thinking about her past adventures. At this moment her mind was on the arc of infinity and how she had been forced to kill omega or at the very least she was almost sure she had killed him but had no way to know for certain if he was still alive. The doctor walked up to the console and decided she would go have some fun, she pressed a few buttons and the Tardis was soon homing in on a distress beacon as it took off.

The Tardis soon shook as it landed and the doctor looked at the monitor "fifty first century, location unknown" she read from the screen before checking oxygen levels and seeing that they were normal. She then turned on the intercom "Oi you two wake up!" She yelled

Oracle pov

I opened my eyes after hearing the doctor yelling something about waking up. I yawned before getting out of bed and heading for the console room.

Minutes later I had arrived at the console room only to be greeted by the doctor and kasha "took you long enough" the doctor said "we are going on an adventure!" She said excitedly as she opened the Tardis door and walked out.

I walked after her and looked around and noticed we were in a crashed ship "what planet is this?" I asked the doctor as she was looking at everything"

"Um I forgot to check actually" she mumbled embarrassedly as she awkwardly laughed. I noticed a skeleton and walked up to it noting how old it looked.

"When did this ship crash?" I asked the doctor.

"Not to long ago, why?" She replied as I motioned to the skeleton "oh" she replied as she crouched down to get a better look at it "It's as if the skin and insides were eaten away" she mumbled.

"But what could do that?" Kasha asked as she looked at the corpse.

"I don't want to find out" the doctor replied grimly "so let's go onwards" she said happily as she walked further into the ship. I rolled my eyes as me and kasha followed her close behind.

I noticed a shape in the corner and walked up to it "I found someone!" I yelled to the doctor "he's unconscious" I said as she ran up to him and examined him.

"Maybe he can tell us what happened" she said as the man started to wake up "hello what happened here?" The doctor asked him.

"The shadows!" He replied sacredly "they ate them!" He said before stumbling back and getting up before running off.

"Oi! Wait get back here!" The doctor yelled as she ran after him with me and kasha following closely behind.

"Ah!" We heard a yell as we turned a corner and found a skeleton with the mans clothes all torn up.

"That's horrific" kasha muttered as the doctor walked up to the dead man "no its Vashta Narada" she replied "the creatures that live in the dark"

I nodded "so bad news then?" I asked as the doctor nodded .

"Very" she replied as she looked down the corridor "stay out of the shadows" she ordered "we have to get back to the Tardis" she said as she started walking towards the direction we came from carefully avoiding any shadows.

We soon arrived back at the Tardis as I yawned "Well I'm going back to bed" I said before I noticed I started glowing "Well crap" I said before I was teleported away.

The doctors pov

I noticed Oracle start to glow "well crap" he said before he disappeared.

"No!" I ran to the console trying to figure out what happened before hearing a booming sound from outside. I looked at the monitor and noticed the ship starting to collapse around the Tardis "here we go again" I muttered as the ship collapsed.
