Chapter 3 - Finally a friend

**Skyylar's point of view**

I was still in the field with Alex. We were just sitting there, chilling for a while, while the wind flows towards us. We seated there till the bell rings. 

We walked straight to our lockers & went to our classes. Mine's Maths so does Alex. I sat at the back of the corner while Alex sat in front of me. This is sort of my favourite class. It's not THAT boring & taht i'm quite good at math. I like the teacher, Mrs Valentine. She's nice. 

After the school's over, I walked home with Alex. We did stopped by at the coffee shop then we went back seperately. We said goodbye & waved. I walked home smiling like crazy (aye don't judge, we're like that when we're happy at some point). I haven't smiled a real smile for a long time & it felt good. I went to my room & took a shower then put on a normal black shirt & leggings. I opened up my laptop & start doing the same routine.

A few hours later, I did my homeworks then started using my laptop again. Pfft typical..

I looked at my phone screen to see what time is it..."11:45 p.m" CRAP IT'S ALMOST MIDNIGHT, says the girl that sleeps after midnight most of the time. I better go to sleep now I guess. School tomorrow *shrugs*. Hurry the freak up Fridayyyyy!

*next day*

**Alex's point of view**

I woke up with the sun shines through the window. The first thing that pop on my mind was Skyylar. I can't stop thinking about her, with her cute smile on her face. (sounds cheesy but no one cares). She's just so beautiful like ugh. Okay I got up & streched then looked at my phone for a while. It's only 6:56 a.m. I scroll down my feed on instagram then went to take a bath. I put on black jeans & a hoodie then off to the cafe. Hoping Skyylar's there.

I walked to the cafe & ordered a normal coffee & sat at my typical place. No one's around in here except me. And the workers of course. I looked at the time & it's 07:15 a.m. Where's Skyylar? I thought. She's always early. I hope she comes anytime soon. 

My coffee arrives & I take a sip. There's a few people now in the cafe. But not Skyylar. I looked at the time again & it's almost 07:30 a.m. Where is she? Where are you Skyylar? ugh. I better off to school now or I'll be late. 

I arrived at school around 07:45 a.m. Nope. Skyylar's not here. I went to my locker & take some stuffs for the first lesson. HISTORY. & get in class. I walked in & not much peoople in the class yet. I sat at the back of the class & used my phone for a while. I should've asked Skyllar's phone number yesterday. Dang it I forgot. I hope she's okay. 

**Skyylar's point of view** 

I woke up on the living room floor. Dired blood on my nose. Bruises everywhere. I tried to get up but it hurts. A LOT. My head starts spinning AGGHH. I slowly get up & went to the bathroom. I looked at the mirror & all I see was a monster with blood on her face & bruises on the eyes & mouth. Then I remember what happen.

*20 minutes before the black out* 

I walked out of my room getting ready for school when I heard voices downstairs. I slowly walked downstairs & hear talking, laughing in a drunk way. I saw my my parents drunk on the living room with some of the people I don't know. Probably they went to the club last night. 

I grab my beg & slowly walking towards the door when my mom caught me. She starts yelling at me asking where i was going then starts yelling at me for no exact reason. Then my dad starts throwing the beer glass towarsd me while laughing. Then he got up & walks towards me & strts slapping me. My mom just laughs with the others. He starts kicking me on the stomach & I yelled in pain. Not even one was helping. All they did was watch & laugh. Then he pushed & knocked me out. That's where things went blank. I passed out.
