Neko Killua x Inu Gon

Chapter 1

Hey guys! I just wanted to say that my English isn't that good, and forgive me for the poor spelling. I haven't watched hunter x hunter probably in 5-6 months, So the characters might sound a bit different then the original characters, so please bear with it. Now I hope you guys enjoy the story.

Ever since Gon turned 18, he was able to rent his own little cottage. It was pretty hard to convince Mito-san to let him leave the house. But at last, he was in his own. Gon missed her dearly, as he considered her as his own mother.

He sighed, as he heard the alarm clock beep at exactly 7:00AM. He lazily smacked it, making it immediately went silent. Gon groaned, rubbing his eyelids. He put on a pair of Plain white T-shirt, and some sweatpants. He did his morning routine, take a shower, brush his teeth, and went straight to the kitchen. He made blueberry waffles, and put a generous amount of maple syrup.

After he ate, he went to his favorite place, just thinking about it makes his tail swayed in excitement. Yes he is a Inu himself, (One with dog ears and tail). He took a short jog. Shortly after, he reach his favorite place. It was near a large and wide river that separate the Nekos and the Inus, but there is also a bridge for them to cross, such as doing company businesses and have small talk.

He would climbed a tall, tree and would peeked over the river. Yes, he heard many stories about the Nekos, some good some bad, but mostly bad. He also heard stories of the infamous Zoldyck, they're a rich family owning a large company. It's obvious that the Nekos and Inus don't get along.

Still, I don't see why we hate our differences, because when Gon peeked over the trees, he saw villages, much like his and many joyful faces. So why is that we must hate each other? He question himself.

Gon watch the busy villagers, and playful teens playing around. He chuckled lightly. You see, Gon never actually had a friend, just him, his aunt, and his grandma. He was homeschooled most of the time because of many reasons. He wasn't exactly good at it. Gon was also gullible and maybe even innocent, making it easy for people to target him, or take advantages.

Once he even let a stranger in, all because he said "I'm here to pick up my son because he's sick". Gon just nodded happily as he gladly let the stranger in. That's when Gon suddenly got attacked, he was cut on his stomach. Without knowing it, he ended up in the hospital and the school went in lock-down mode. Luckily, the attacker was caught before he can hurt anyone else, it was said he carried a pocket knife and a gun hidden in his coat.

Gon felt great guilt and was traumatize from the past event, he soon left the school. Gon signed, he broke out of his negative thoughts. He heard someone with his dog ears. He notice someone with shiver hair. The shiver hair person also notice Gon, as he too, looked up at Gon.

There was a sudden pause, almost like they are having a starring contest. Either moved, or even blinked in a matter of fact. Until Gon shouted down "Hey" he smiled, waving eagerly. The unknown boy just gave a "hmp" and said a simple "Hi". "I'm Gon Freecss!" He introduce himself. "Wait there" the boy replied back.

After 20 minutes, Gon frowned thinking he might have left him hanging. He carefully climbed down the tree. He started walking back home, as he stumbled on the tree's and fell down. He groaned, mentally face palming.

He notice a pale hand, as he looked up. His amber eyes met the blue ones. Such long eyelashes, soft lips, and feminine features. I wouldn't be surprise if he got mistaking as a girl. "Need help?" He said bluntly. Almost like he has no emotion. "Yeah, sorry about that" He apologize and grabbed the unknown boy's hand. Gon let out a soft chuckled. "I'm Killua" he spoke out again, but he avoided mentioning his last name.

"It's nice to meet you" Gon replied back in a jolly voice. "Same" Killua nodded.
There was a 10 second of awkward silent. Again, Gon decided to brake the tension, "so what are you doing here anyways?" The cute curious boy asked. Gon notice for a split second, Killua cat ears twitched. "No reason.. how about you?" Killua knows better than the tells a stranger more then they needed to know. "Well.. this is that is my special spot" Gon point up at the tall tree, "and sometimes I go fishing here!"

Killua realize how over-excited the new boy was, since Gon's tail is wagging rapidly. "Oh, that's cool" Killua slightly smirked. "Yeah? Then do you want to go fishing with me tomorrow?" Gon held his hands into Killua's hands without realizing. "Hmm, maybe"

"Aw" Gon slightly pouted, "I didn't say I won't". Gon ears perks up, "for real?! That grea—" before he could finish his sentence, Killua stopped him. "But I didn't say I would" he smirked. Gon frown, as Killua smirked expanded. Without a second later, they ended up laughing.

"So tell me more about yourself" Gon smiles widely. So brightly, almost like he is light itself. "Hm, I have a younger sister" Killua once again, leaving out some unnecessary information. Killua also continues, "I love Chocolate Chobots, and.." Killia leans in near Gon's right ear and said "I'm so smart that I finished school already" He gave Gon a cat-ish grin.

Gon chuckled lightly "well, I'm not really good at school. I'm homeschooled, now I lived on my own now, no siblings".

How did he cross the bridge? Don't he need a business card? And it's really hard to get them.. Gon thought but was interrupted by Killua voice.

"What do you do to earn money?" Killus question the amber eye boy.

"Well.. I sell breads, vegetables, and fruits in stall, and I work for a bar, except on the weekends. Sometimes, I relax on the weekends" Killua nodded in agreement, "how about you Killua?" Killua froze, trying to avoid the question. "I gotta go, see ya later at 8:00 Am" Killua dashes off. "Shit" he cursed under his breath.

"That was weird? But did I really made a friend? I hope I do, and we can get along!" Gon happily said to himself, no one in particular. "Yeah. I hope he is my friend."
