Neko Killua x Inu Gon

Chapter 8

            Alluka coughed roughly, her heated face, and the way she hovers between steps. It was clear that she was sick. At first, it started off as a fever, now is much more serious. They cancelled the double date and asked Leorio for help, but he said "Buy this medicine at the pharmacy" he nodded. "Thank you!" Gon bowed, appreciation toward him because he was willingly to do the check up for free. Leorio grinned a toothy smile, and gave a thumb up. "If it gets more serious, my arms are wide open". Gon chuckled, and thank him for the 100th time.

It's been three days, Unfortunately Alluka fever seems to get worse, causing Killua to stayed home with her. He was careful to take care of her. He wetted the towels, and gently place it on her forehead. Alluka however was fast asleep, snoring, yet breathing heavily. Killua hold on tightly to her smaller hands. "Get well soon" he whispers.

He heard a click nearby, knowing it was Gon, he didn't bother to checked. "Hey Killua, How is she?" Gon walked in the room, feeling tired. "She's..get worse" The slim boy said weakly. Gon patted his back, whispering "it's okay". Killua only nodded, he was too focus on Alluka to even replied to Gon. The Inu felt a bit hurt, since Killua been ignoring him for the past three days.

            Focus on me too Gon whimpers quietly, but shook his head. No, right now, Alluka needs Killua.

Gon went to the pharmacy earlier. "$200.00". "What?!" Gon said louder then he intended. "I said $200.00" she said once again, this time, in harsher tone. Gon first scrambled through this walllet, just barely enough money to pay. He thank her, as he received a bag with the medicine in it. "So expensive yet so very little pills" he whines at the expensive price. Along the way, he saw a person in a black cloaked, playing with his puppet. Showing cool tricks to the kids as the children giggles at the amazing stunt.

It attracted Gon to it as well because Gon has a mind like a kid. While performing tricks, Gon caught a glimpse as the person eyes, a beautiful teal color. Maybe even beautiful then Killua eyes. As they finished, they gave a quick bow. The kids left after this, laughing and telling their parents all about it. Gon slightly smirks at one kid holding both his dad and mom hands, connecting them together. He turned to the cloaked person, "Wow that was Amazing!" Gon exclaimed. Gon then saw that they have vibrant blonde hair, much like Kurapika. They giggles, and said "Names Retz, and you?" "I'm Gon Freecss!". The slightly taller person laughed gently. "Why are you wearing a cloak anyways? It makes you look suspicious" Gon eye down the person, he can't tell if they were a girl or not. The cloaked person chuckled nervously, "uh, nothing?". There was a intense silence between those two. "Are you a Neko?" He says without realizing at all. The Blond stayed silent, Gon slightly smirked and said "Bingo".

"Please don't tell anyone!" They kneed down, praying that Gon won't expose them. "I won't!" Gon giggles. "Please don't— wait what? Did I heard that right? Gon then again laughed a little louder. "I said I won't" the Teal eyed person was shocked, he wasn't going to blackmail them? He wasn't going to tell everyone? Is it okay to trust him?. "It's okay, I won't, if I do tell someone, you can do anything to me. Heck, kill me if you have to" Gon smiles, but you could tell he was dead serious.

"Your so strange" Retz teases him a bit. Making Gon elbow them lightly. "One more question.." Gon looks more serious that he was last time. Retz back up a few steps, gulping. "W-what is it G-Gon?" Sweat dropped from the side of their face. "Are you.. are boy or girl?" He asked.

Retz laughed loudly, "I'm a boy Gon! Isn't it obvious?" He asked, rolling his eyes. "Really? I couldn't tell.. you look so feminine" He said honestly. Gon expected to get elbowed since he ask Killua the same thing. But instead they pulled him into a hug "Aww, thank you". The blonde Neko whisper in a rather.. husky voice. Gon, of course hugged back, just now realizing he have to go back and give Alluka the pills. He pushed the boy backward "sorry! I gotta go! Maybe see you tomorrow" Retz nodded, waving back to him.

And that is how Gon met Retz. Overtime, Gon started to have feelings for Retz. He couldn't tell Retz yet, he wanted to wait for a perfect time. On the other hand, Killua haven't even notice that Gon was usually later then he was. He didn't care, he just want Alluka to get better. Her health been ups and downs like a rollercoaster. Sometimes she would feel better, but the next day, she is just sick. Poor Alluka, it's been 2 weeks since she was sick.

Not only is Alluka is drained, Gon's wallet is almost empty because buying her medicine is expensive. Killua couldn't help him, even if he wanted to. He just have to protect his precious sister, and plus, if he leaves, what would happen to Alluka?

Lately Killua have notice a faint scent on Gon lately, why is that? But he just shrugged it off, giving no shit.

He haven't been talking to Gon as much too, he is always in the guest room with Alluka, only holding her hands tightly. Maybe even crying when Gon is not around. The lack of attention makes Gon determined to get their friendship as it used to be.

Hearing Killua in the bathtub, Gon busted into the bathroom. "Ahh! Gon what are you doing here?!" Killua screamed, ears and tail straighten up as if he was frighten, "Let's take a bath together! We haven't done that in awhile" Gon says while undressing his clothes. "Get out!!" Killua shouted louder this time. "Shh, you will wake up Alluka!" He frowned at the pale boy. Killua of course thought about this, after all, he is her big brother. "Fine, but never!" He hissed, slightly pouting. "Hehe!~" Gon grinned, getting into the warm bath. "Ahh, feels great!" He sunk into the warm water. "Ugh, Whatever" Killua did the same. "Let me wash you, turn around" Killua was about to protest but did what he was told. Rubbing Killua hair with water and soap, Killua hold in a purr, thinking how nice it's feels when Gon is doing this. "Harder" Killua said sternly, pouting again. "Will do!" Gon giggles, and washed his hair, and his slim back. Soon after Gon started rubbing his tail without Killua permission. "S-Stop it!" Killua glared at Gon, "I can do it on my own, geez!" He slightly pushes the naked boy backwards. "Your turn" Gon beamed, he haven't spend time with Killua in forever. Missing the feeling, he can't help but laugh at all the little things Killua do.

Killua traces down Gon back slowly, sending shivers to Gon. He stared at his tanned back, rubbing his fingertips in a circular-motion. "Stop it Killua! It's ti-tickles—!" The other boy squirmed around, slightly arching his back. Killua blinked a couple but times before he came into reality "oh sorry" he mumbles, quietly.

Once finished washing Gon's back, he started doing the same with Gon's hair. Surprising it was soft, despise how spikey it looked. Occasionally he played with a strand of Gon's hair. Maybe "accidentally" pulling on it hard, making Gon yelp and whimpered. Killua loved it. How easily he could have hurt the boy if he wanted to. Getting closer to the the Inu ears, Gon suddenly pulled forward, stopping Killua from doing anything. Killua glance at Gon with confusion, seeing that Gon was in defense position. "What's wrong Gon?" He slowly asked him, curious of why he won't let him finish. "Umm, I think I can do it on my own!" He tensed up greatly, you could tell on his face that he was anxious. "Cmon Gon!" Killua groan, rolling his eyes. Gon knew the boy was piss off, and today was the day they spent time together, so why not.. right?

"Okay.." he nodded, hugging his knee and his back facing Killua. As he began rubbing the boy's ears, Gon jolted, almost scaring Killua. He whimpers quietly, holding his hands on his mouth. "N-Ngh" he moans out quietly. Being petted is okay, but this is different. His ears flatten, as Gon can't take off his eyes from the water. Killua found this assuming, seeing Gon is a delicate state. He smirked, almost like a cat would if it smile. He rubbed harder, and this time he pulled it upwards. Killua laughed, teasing Gon is so funny. He stopped as Gon wasn't laughing with him.

Gon hugs his knee tightly, tears forming into his eyes. His ears quiver, and his tail tremble. Killua seeing this, he instantly felt with regret. "Sorry Gon". The boy only nodded, it made Killua kinda piss, because he wasn't looking at him. So instead Pulled Gon around, seeing Gon in tears. Gon hurried and duh his face into his knees.

Cute.

"Did it hurt?" Killua asked with concern, and worried. He nodded again. Killua petted Gon head, for the first time. "I'm sorry, please forgive me". Their was an uncomfortable silence. Before Gon said "it's... okay.."
"Thanks Gon" finally Gon smile, and was back to his old self. "Yeah, your welcome". 

After this event, they began to talk just a little more, but Killua still mostly ignored him. Only caring about his sister. Gon wasn't wanting attention from Killua like he used to do, ever since he met Retz, it felt different from before. Is it because of having 1 more friend?
