Kayla's P.O.V.

It has been a week and things have been quite different around here.

For one Ethan and I don't hate each other as much as we used to which is a plus I guess.

After our week of intermission, we returned to our regular routine but something about it felt more natural in a way.

Kevin left with his family for a business trip and hasn't been back yet.

Do I care though?

Not even a bit.

How about Roni? You might ask.

Well ever since someone told the whole school about what happened.

Well, let's just say it went downhill for her.

Noah heard about it and broke up with her.

They created a huge scene at school making her look so vulnerable.

What did I do?

I looked away.

I wish I could comfort her and give her my love and affection but she betrayed me some way and I don't like it.

Many people came to me with their pity apologies and tried to 'comfort' me.

I could care less about being cheated.

I cheat all the time with Ethan.

The only thing that hurt me was Roni.

Of course she tried to apologize many times but I walked away.

I'm just not ready.

Currently I hang out with Gwen and her 3 minions.

They think I'm part of them. Kinda funny actually.

"Meet me in the supply closet later," Ethan whispers quickly as he walks away from the empty hallway.

A smirk forms on my face as I close my locker.

I begin to walk to class when I hear fast footsteps behind me.

"I bet you missed me," Kevin whispers into my ear as he wrapped his hands around my waist.

I quickly pull them off and turn to face him.

"I didn't miss you at all," I say proudly.

"Oh come on don't be that way," he says grabbing my free hand.

I jerk it away and give him my petty fake smile.

"Kevin I'm breaking up with you," I say with a cheerful smile.

His face drops as I see a smirk form on his face.

"Quit playing Kayla. We both know you're not going to do that," he chuckles.

"I just did."
