Poem:

While rain floods the house
As my baby brother cries
I hold him in my arms
And told him many lies

Dont worry dont fret
The rain will be over yet
Daddy will come home
He'll fix it with no regret

The water rises high
Breaching our small chests
I hold my brother tight
And keep lying my best

Oh father he is strong
He'd never leave our side
He'll save us from the rain
And hold us up with pride

I hold my brother up
So he may breath the air
The water fills my lungs
But stopping, I don't dare

He's on his way right now
He's practically here
So stand tall and strong
Don't you live in fear

The water engulfs my body
But my brother stays a float
Daddy's not coming back
He has no stable boat

I drown and it turns black
I'm alone but I dont care
My brother will survive
He didnt need daddy there
