One month, one week, five days, one hour, seven minutes and thirteen seconds.

The Globes were off to an already great start. They were amazing.

The room filled with A list stars, crowds laughing, clapping, and all he can notice was the way the light glimmered off of her bright sunshine hair. He would quickly loose interest in the show, except when they were on stage doing their bits. When she came out in that stylish tuxedo, and light brown wig, he laughed for days. She was so short, and so fearless. The bit was perfect.

She was perfect.

Even in those small black men's shoes, he still considered her the most beautiful person in the whole room.

The show was picking up, and one star after another accepted their awards. Soon, the category he anticipated was coming next. He couldn't wait to see what she would do as they call her name along with the other four nominees. The presenters took the stage, and read off of the monitor. The camera switches to her on the singer from U2's lap. He was giving her a massage and she turned to thank him. He smiled and waited for the winner to be announced.

The room was quiet, as the guy read off the card. He heard her name and the room exploded into cheers. He stood up abruptly and cheered for her. She ran onto the stage in triumphant, accepting her award cheerfully. She acknowledged her cast, and delivered a sweet genuine speech. She really wasn't expecting the award.

As she exited the stage, he couldn't help but run into the back stage area. He had to congratulate her.

He found her in a circle of people, and tugged on her arm. She whipped around to face his beaming face.

She was glowing. His heart stopped, and his mouth went dry. She was just so goddamn beautiful in that dress and hair and makeup. The lighting was perfect. The smile she wore was to die for, and he couldn't help but hold her hands and simply gaze at her features. She talked animately while he just listened, of course. She moved her hand away slightly, but he caught it again, softly rubbing it with both of his hands. She rubbed his arm with her free hand, still excited from the surprising win. She *really* hadn't expected it. The rest of the night went smoothly. It's when the after party started that it became more interesting.
