- HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAN!!!- Sam shouted, standing next to his sleeping brother, holding a paper bag and something else in his hands.
- Sammy, what the hell? Its too early for that.- Dean growled, grumpy, but with a smile on his face.
- I guess you already have to get up. Besides you napped the whole day, you ain't going anywhere like that.
Sitting up and slowly coming to a proper state of consciousness, Dean realized that Sam was actually holding a small cake shaped pie in his hands with candles on it.
- Wow, where did you pick a pie like this?
-Oh Dean, you know its the least I can do for my beloved old man*smirk* (no wincest intended)
-Ah piss off. I'm only 30.- they both laughed.
Sammy put the pie on the table near Dean's bed, and was cutting it into pieces when Dean got up and hugged his little brother.
After a long-long time, after all that they've been through, this was a truly happy moment for both of them.
-Thanks Sammy.
-Na-ah, its too early for that.- They broke the hug and Dean looked surprised at his brother.
He was quite amused when Sam took a big bottle of Jack Daniels of the paper bag. Sam filled their glasses with Jack and ice and the two brothers sat on the bed to have the birthday pie.
They were in an ordinary motel room, because Dean didn't plan anything at all. They were in the middle of a case. But Sammy's imagination got further than that.
-For success.
-Cheers!
After hour of chatting about the last year, good and bad times, they already finished the pie and Dean was filling their glasses again.
- You know, Dean, I could've bought "Johnnie Walker Blue" or some other cheap drink, but I decided this is a special year,..with a special drink
- Oh yeah Sammy- Thanks buddy-
-And a special gift!- Sam grinned at his old brother, after checking the time on his watch.
-...Wha?- Dean looked at him with a questioning face- Sam....*sighs happily, standing up* Couldn't you wait until its morning?
-Nope...-Sam lowered his voice- Its outside.
Dean's eyes sparkled like a little child's. He didn't know what to expect, he couldn't even imagine .
