We walked out of the precinct straight to my car. "Captain told me I have to drive." Rosa said, just as I reached for the handle. "Fine." As we start driving, Rosa said. "I'm also supposed to escort you to your apartment and then the airport." I don't move. "Come on Y/N, Jake and Holt had to go threw this too. You shouldn't worry." I start to get angry, but I know it's not because of her. "I'm not worried. I want to be out there with them trying to catch the guy, not stuck in some bullpen with no cases." Rosa looked at me with sympathy in her eyes. "How about for the first few weeks to keep you entertained, I send you the details to my cases and you can help me solve them. Okay?" I looked at her for the first time. "You would really do that for me?" Rosa smiled. "Of course I would. Here at the Nine-Nine, we protect our own. Come on, let's get going!" Rosa's eyes were full of happiness, but a sad outline was still visible, just buried.
