-Flashback-

"Mommy, mommy! Can we play in the yard? Mr. Rabbit said he wants you to be with us!"

"I don't have time to play your games. I'm a busy woman."

"...Okay. I'm sorry, Mom."

A small figure came out into the gorgeous courtyard, full of flowers.

"Mr. Rabbit, it will be just the two of us. Mommy is busy today."

The white bunny stared at the sad child with its red eyes for a moment, the next jumping cheerfully over the girl's lap. The child could only smile.

"Daddy, I made you cookies with Mrs. Yuri! Would you try them?"

The man looked at the happy child with disregard and seconds later removed the cookies from [Y/n]'s hands in one go. The food fell to the ground, picking up the dirt that the maids were supposed to wipe out.

"I don't eat trash."

Little girl shrank frightened, but she didn't move from her place. "I'm sorry, Father."

-Flashback-

Kusanagi slowly opened her eyes and tried to focus everything in front of her. It was still dark outside. With that, the temperature had fallen. It wasn't that cold, but it was enough for her to feel chills.

She stood up in a sitting position and turned her head to the right. The bed beside her was empty, white sheets didn't even show signs of being used. She reached for the nightstand beside her and pressed the button on her phone. 3:27 am. Unpleasant time for being awake. Nor could she fall asleep, nor could she endure the upcoming day. She knew the second option was more likely to happen, so she got out of bed and used her ability.

The main reason why she didn't feel fear from the exam and the people in it was the great number of battles she had over the past 12 years. After her family was killed, she couldn't stay in this mansion because the killer could come back at any time. She still remembered that night. Blood on the walls, the floor, the stairs. All maids were lying on the ground, only deadly silence. That day changed her life. From there, she had to steal to survive, running away as the owners of the street stalls chased her. Her red dress was torn, stained, used for months. Still, she didn't stop wearing it. She loved it as well as the color.

Twenty years ago, when Kusanagi acquired these abilities, she didn't know it happened. She only remembered how each day her right arm was slowly covered by a long body and finally - head. Dragon. A huge dragon had traveled the length of her limb. Was it her imagination or did she hear a growl? She wanted to know what was going on, but she decided to hide her little arms, wearing magnificent long-sleeved dresses.

Sixteen years ago the black-haired kid was already talking to the dragon. People walking along the main streets hurried to pass through the narrow street in which [Y/n] was hiding, watching her arm regularly and talking to her. Crazy. This child was definitely crazy. No one felt sorry for her. Everyone was afraid of the irrational.

Fourteen years ago she learned to run, fast, really fast. She didn't know how it happened, but suddenly she had a great amount of energy, huge endurance. She didn't expect to learn later that she had stolen some stranger's abilities with her eyes alone.

Twelve years ago she could fight. For two years she understood that she had something called nen, for one to know what this was. The dragon on her arm was obviously her ability. Every day she used her speed as a plus to slip into the library and study. From what she read so far, she realized that there were several types of nen, the best of them describing her ability was a specialist. After that, she started the tough training process that ruined her condition for a while.

Ten years ago the red-eyed girl was already using her arm. She was feeding her dragon on a daily basis with other people's abilities, she felt such a huge strength that she often faded in random places.

Five years ago [Y/n] started accepting work requests. People sooner or later heard about a girl with abnormal power and were trying to take advantage of her kindness. She didn't have a license, but she was twice as successful as the ones that owned it.

But she didn't only use abilities that would help her on the battlefield. She used her eyes to remember some innocent but practical too. Such as "Creativity". She could create safe things. From clothes to money for food. That's why she was no longer in her pajamas. She was wearing a new pair of jeans, a new even more broad T-shirt and of course, her jacket. It was cold this morning.

She stepped out of the room and walked through the empty corridors. She didn't have time to look around the airship, so now she had to walk until she can at least find a place to eat. After walking for a while, she went out on one with a few benches with really beautiful sky view. On one of them was Gittarackur, who was just staring with his frightening smile and shaking his head slightly. He looked like that head shaking dolls, it was funny.

This man was mysterious to her. Several times she ran into him during the two phases, but she couldn't even know what was behind that smile and her eyes were more than observable.

Zoldyck, in turn, was silent. He knew she was close, but he didn't look away from the stars.

"The night is wonderful, isn't it?"

Silence.

The black-haired girl stared at the man for a while, not thinking how awkward the situation would be. His needles awakened curiosity in her, so she reached out to touch one. She had only one available second because the blue-haired man turned his head sharply and his eyes screamed not to touch where she didn't have to. But this second was enough to know that these needles were not just for beauty.

"Disguise?"

Again silence.

She liked the silence, but was also a stubborn girl. She sat beside him, but this time her eyes focused on the sky. Gittarackur stood up shortly after and was about to turn behind the first possible corner but was stopped by [Y/n]'s voice.

"Zoldyck."

The tall man just stood there, considering the situation. Should he kill her or brainwash her? But he somehow felt it won't be that easy. Something was lying in this girl.

"Don't you dare say something to Killu."

"Killu? Ah, so I'm right. You two are blood-related. That's why I felt such a familiar aura."

The blue-haired man was surprised hearing that answer, but he didn't want to deal with this woman right now, so he continued on his way, letting the girl look at the approaching sunrise.
