chapter 9

i woke up the next morning with a heavy feeling on my shoulder, i look to my side to find scotts head leaning on my shoulder, him fast asleep, like a innocent baby. seeing him like this made my heart flutter like a maniac. my body was feeling hot. my shoulder had a tingly feeling in it. oh my god.

i never knew a stubble could feel so good, i sound like a creep right now, but i cant help it, im wearing a sleevless dress and he is sleeping right on my bare shoulder, like damn. and my brother was sleeping on the other couch. and no we werent drunk, this is what happens when you attempt to have a movie marathon that begin at 10pm. so yeah, i slowly got up, placing scott head on a pillow. and rushed up to my room to get dressed.

i put on a light blue high waisted shorts and a white knitted crop jumper, i tied my hair in a high pony tail annd put on some purple converse shoes and headed back downstairs. scott and my brother were still fast asleep, so i quickly slipped out and told the driver to leave since i wanted to drive today. i drove to mitch's house. once i had reached i ran to the door, ringing the doorbell. he opened the door.

"hey skylar, what you doing here so early" he said, i think i just disturbed his sleep.

"sorry 'bout that, but i just wanted to ask if you want to come to a party with me and zach." i asked

"erm, sure but wont people recognise me there." he asked

"probably but that shouldnt matter, i'll just say that zach put in a special request." i said.

"okay, cool" he replied

"okay see ya tomorrow 6pm at mines. okay"

"right, see ya" he said and then shut the door.

i quickly took out my phone to call zach, as i got inside the car, i put it on speaker when he answered the phone.

"hey zach! i know this is last minute but can you arrange a party for tomorrow at 7pm." i asked

"erm why?" he replied

"i dont have time to explain just do it for me please." i pleaded

"fine. bye" and he hung up.

i drove back to my house and parked in the drive way, i rushed inside, to my luck scott was up and so was my brother.  sat next to scott on the dining table and nudged him in the arm.

"scott zach is holding party at his house, do you wanna come?" i asked

"nah, i dont feel like it, sorry" he replied

"please come scott, i beg you" i pleaded

"oh fine, just because you are saying so. i'll come."

"okay meet me here at  6:30pm tomorrow okay!" he nodded his head and finished off his sandwich.

"okay i have to go, bye" he said getting up and leaving

"bye" i waved.

i got up and went up to my room to see what dress i am going to wear tomorrow. i went into my closet and ruffled through my clothes i came across a couple of dresses that  i liked but then there was this one dress that i like which was purple, that came just above the knees and had a white belt around the waist, the top half of it was tight but below the waist was loose, so i could walk comfortbly in, and it also matched my shoes. so i was sorted.

i went back down the stairs, to my brother who was watching extreme makeover: home edition on t.v.

"hey, im going to a party tomorrow, okay.i'll be home late." i said to him

"okay, i'll be leaving tomorrow night anyways." he replied

"what!? b-but you just came!" i shrieked

"i know, but i just recieved a call that something has gone wrong, and i have to go. im sorry, i will come back though i promise"

"okay... lets go." i said

"where?" he asked

" i dont know anywhere, and then afterwards we can go get pizza" i said

"ha ha, how could forget the pizza! okay lets go." he said.

after he got changed into something more appropriate, he put on a cap and some shaded, so that no one would recognise him and we headed out.

we came home exhausted but hungry, luckily we had buttlaods of pizza, i called zach over since i knew that if we didnt finish the pizza, i knew zach would. we put on a movie and we all got dressed into a onsie, zach was dressed as a penguin, i was a rabbit, and my brother was just in a plain, black onsie that had no patterns or anything on it. whenever zach got up he would waddle like a penguin making us all laugh our head off, cuz he looked like a fool.

later onn when the movie ended zach wet home and Anthony went to bed, i slowly walked up to my room and flopped onto my bed, my eyes closing, i fell asleep.
