chapter 12

"who is that?" Zach asked

"don't worry, just please give me some details about him if you can."

"okay.. i'll call when i got some info" he replied

"your such a babe! thank you so much. i'll wait for your call!"

"erm...thanks." he chuckled and i hung up.

now what do i do. i literally had nothing to do. i opened up twitter, and scrolled through my notifications but there was nothing exciting on. i went on Instagram, nothing but  a couple of new pics of scott and mitch, kirstie, kevin and avi. i could never get over avi's eyes. i liked some of my brothers pics, he doesn't follow me but i follow him.

i wish my grandma was still here, at least there would've been someone to talk to, this house is huge but my needs are really small. i always think when i get married one day. will my parents even be present then. or will they think about their business more.

my grandma only said to protect me from the media she never said keep me a secret. i hate my life. I really hate living in this big ass house if there is hardly anyone here.

"Hey, did you get anything?" I asked Zach, it was about 2pm

"Yeah, I got an address too."

"Oh my god really. Jackpot!"

"Are you gonna tell me who this is?"

"Just get over here asap we are going to the address." I hung up without letting him finish. I got up and got dressed. I put on a black crop top and light blue skin tight jeans, I wrapped my waist with my hoodie and put on my converse' on.

I rushed down the stairs and out the door, as always Zach was on time and waiting in the car. I sat in the passenger seat and Zach drove to the address. I need this to work out as soon as possible.

"So..."

"Right, Travis is Mitch's ex boyfriend. I need him to get Mitch to understand why it wasn't Scotts fault that they broke up."

"And  how exactly will you do that."

"I'm gonna get all of them in one room. And we will see from there."

"All you have planned is to get them in a room...so you don't have this planned? Skylar do you even know what your putting yourself into?!"

"Yes... But think about the positives that could come out of this. I'm just looking out for my friends, I would do the same if it was you" henshuffled awkwardly in his seat.

"Right...friends.."

"Lol oops your not just my friend...your my beesstt friend!!" I laughed. The car stopped outside a house. I handed zach the clipboard from the back of his car. I took a deep breath before stepping out the car.

"Okay we are going to knock asking for a survey for a school project. Then you will call me without him seeing. And I will pick up and talk as if I am talking to Mitch okay." He nodded his head and we walked to the door and knocked.

"Hey, we are doing a survey for a school project can I ask you some questions?" Zach spoke. I just observed the man that was in front of me. Travis. He looked better in real life to be honest. But that's not the point.  My phone rang. I looked at it, it was actually Mitch!

"Excuse me I need to answer this." I said, Travis looked at me.

"Hey miss Skylar Evans" he greeted

"Hey Mr Mitch grassi, what's up with the sudden formality. Were friends." Travis' eyes widened when I said Mitch's name, that means my plan had worked.

"Oh just thought it would be funny." Mitch said. I laughed because it actually did sound funny coming from him. But also because Travis was in front of me.

"Hey I'm actually busy, you should come over the day after tomorrow with Scott we can have lunch. With a friend of mine" I said nudging Zach as if to show Travis I was talking about Zach.

"Err...sure cool....you can call Scott and tell him that please."

"Urgh fine" I joked. And hung up.

"Sorry about that now can we get back to the survey, Skylar." Zach said. He was doing a pretty good job acting. He is amazing!

"Oh right."

"Hey, forget the survey, I would love to get your number." Travis spoke to me. He sounded like he was flirting with me? Isn't he gay.

"Err...sure" I gave him my number.

"I hope it doesn't bother you, that I'm bi. But your really cute" I smiled out of courtesy, all just because I wanted my plan to work.

"Hey you should come over too." I said, probably what he wanted to hear. And what I wanted him to say yes too.

"Sure, I would love to come."

"Isn't this a bit too soon Skylar." Zach said. He had a serious look on his face.

"It never hurts to try new things Zach, you never know where this may end up. Right..."

"Travis...Travis bush. And your friend is right. Doesn't hurt to try." He smiled. I could see his smirk behind it.

"I'll text you the address!"

"See ya tomorrow then."

"Bye" I replied with a smile.

When the door was safely shut and I was at a good distance I did a victory dance. "Who hoo!! Part 1 accomplished!" I grabbed Zach's hand and made him dance with me. He didn't seem so enthusiastic about it.

"What's wrong!"

"Skylar, didn't you see how the guy was looking at you!"

"Whats up with you all of a sudden. Yeah I did notice and I was murdering him inside my head. But I couldn't have done anything if I wanted my plan to work."

"Isn't there any other way! I don't want that guy to be near you let alone in your house."

"He won't be coming to my house. Don't worry." He shrugged my hands off him and sat in the car. He was acting really strange nowadays. I sat back in the passenger seat quietly. He looked really pissed off and I didn't want to say anything. We have never fought like this. I was really upset.

He drove me home and as soon as I got out the car he drove off, without saying goodbye without waving. Nothing. That hurt me... Nothing he has done would hurt me as much as this did. Why do I suddenly feel like this?

I walked back inside. I had to plan things for the next two days. After tomorrow I will fix Scott and mitch's friendship and maybe bring them closer than before. I mean Scott does love Mitch.

I got a call from an unknown number.

"Hello."

"Hello skylar?"

"Yes who is this?"

"SKYSCRAPER!!"
