chapter 11

i sat in my car for a while, outside of mitch's house, just lost in my thoughts before getting out and walking towards the door. i rang the bell and scott opened the door. he smiled and lead me to the kitchen. he looked like he was going somewhere, all dressed up. i placed the starbucks on the counter and walked back into the living room. and sat on the couch.

"thanks for the starbucks, but honestly you didnt have to take the trouble." scott thanked

"no problem, now tell me why did you sound as if i did something bad, on the phone?"

"you didnt do anything... it was mitch," he said looking away from me

"what did he do..." i said dreading the worst.

"well its not his fault he was drunk"

"what did he do scott" i shrieked

"i found him kissing zach in a corner of the room, they were both really drunk so..."

"what!, mitch was...was.."

"dont feel bad cuz i know you....i mean you guys are best friends and he isnt gay...but."

"its fine, haha, we cant control what we do wen we are drunk. anyways i am gonna go see mitch,"

"but he is asleep."

"not for long," i said waving the starbucks in the air. he smiled and showed me the way to his room.

"knock knock." i said going inside.

"mmm, hey..." he whispered, half asleep.

"look what i brought." i said waving the starbucks before putting it down on the desk

"thanks, i need it. my head hurts so much." he said holding his head. when he put both his arms up to his head did i realise that he was shirtless. he had his blanket covering him though. this is not a good thing, but why am i acting like i have never seen his chest before, just calm down sky, its nothing.

he sat up on his bed and stretched, i seem like a pervert just staring at him. i should stop.

"i am gonna leave you to do your business." i said

"oh sorry, i forgot i was...nevermind. its okay. i'll see you downstairs."

"okay," i said and i shut the door. i headed downstairs and sit on the couch next to scott, who was flicking through the channels.

"if you dont even know what to watch then why do you bother?"

"i dont even know, i usually wait for mitch to put spongebob on, then i just sit somewhere near an watch it with him...kinda" he said

"thats so sweet, scott, i promise i will get your friendship back to normal, i'll do anything but i will make sure you and mitch are friends again"

"skylar you dont need to do that. i am fine with the way things are, our friendship will never be able to go back on track and there is no point trying."

"i will try, i just need you to know that whatever i do, just dont stop me from doing it. because i will need you to help me....will you help me?" i put my hand forwards, waiting for him to accept. he sighed before putting his hand in mine.

"fine, but if things go out of  hand i will stop you."

"fine!" i wrapped my arms around him, giving him a comforting hug. he did the same and boy let me tell you, getting a hug from scott is like getting a hug from an angel. his hands are so soft and gentle and warm. i just want to stay like this but knowing that mitch could be down any second, i let go.

i knew exactly what i needed to do. it will be hard but i have to try at least. mitch came down soon after had his breakfast and we talked for a bit

i said my goodbyes to them and left. i drove home and up into my room. there was a knock on my door.

"come in!" i called

"is there anything you need miss evans."

"no thanks," i said to the butler and she left. i had to get up to shut the door.

i sat back down on my computer and went on google. after a long search and not getting anything i gave up. i decided to call zach, maybe he could help.

it rang a few times before he picked up.

"whats up, sky, why are you calling so early."

"its 1pm."

"its still early, anyways why did you call?"

"i need your help."

"what is it." he replied

"i need you to look for someone"

"who?"

"travis bush."

hey sorry it took ages, i didnt have any ideas, i still have no idea, but i have something for now. i hope it goes well.
