I was at the mall picking out a dress for tonight kottie just asked me to the dance buck was having I said no at first becuse I thought it was just another party but I guess its a ball theme. Anyways sodapop was helping me pick one out but he wasnt much help every dress I tried on he said looked wonderful on me and that was sweet but I brought soda for a reason hes my best friend ever and I need honesty on my looks for tonight.
"Soda please be honest with me this is the fith dress i put on and all you say is I look beautiful every time" I cried
"Because you do look beautiful Christina I just dont understand why you would say yes to him" Soda was kind of getting on my nerves with all these questions i had bigger things to worrie about.
" I said yes because I like him and clearly he likes me to I thought you would be happy for me"
SODAS POV.
I cant believe christina didnt think i was happy for her of course I was happy but not for the guy shes going with he doesnt deserve her hes just gonna break her heart and im not gonna be there to watch it either
"Christina I love I just dont wanna watch you get hurt"
"I can take care of my self I dont need you 24/7 soda!" And with that she bought the red strapless dress and walked out.
CHRISTINAS POV.
I decided not to think about soda so all night the dance I didnt but I didnt know what to think about it was already an hour into the dance and kottie still wasnt here I looked every where I decded that he would show up but for now ill wait I checked my make-up six time before I noticed everyone was gone I sat down and forced my self to think about soda he was right he always is.
SODAS POV.
I went to go find christina the dance should have ended thirty munites ago but when i walked I saw something that could make me kill kottie she was all alone crying on couch I knew just how I was gonna make her feel better I snuk over to the record player looking for a romantic song soon I found the perfect one it was mine and hers favorite, Try me by james brown.
i played the song she looked suprised she didnt see me yet so I think she was scared she stood up and was about to walk out until i wrapped my arms around her waist and turned her around she seemed so happy to see me I held her in my arms and swayed her back forth in a circle how we always do.
"Oh soda you were right about everything I should have listened to you I should hav-" I cut her off with a deep kiss that lasted what seemed like forever till she pulled away, Putting her arms around my neck then she whispered in my ear " Thanks for not saying I told ya so" she smiled I winked back at her and told her that I loved her more than anything. It turned out to be the best dance ever.
Later that week I beat kotties ass in front of everyone he'll never speak to her again.
