NINAS POV.
I just got out of school and i was waiting for johnny behind the tree at the lot hoping no one seen me come over here knowing things would get rough. I kept searching for him until someone wrapped their arms around me and by someone i mean my boyfriend johnny cade.
"What are you doin' on the wrong side of town you soc" He joked, johnny started getting really comfortable with me i remember when we first started dating he could barley look me in the eye but now he kisses me and hugs me all the time well if no ones around.
"I was looking for a really cute guy with black hair and a nice smile hes my boyfriend you seen him?" I asked with a big smirk on my face, He suddenly closed the space between us and kissed me lightly smileing into it.
"I think you should meet the gang nina they would really like you" He attempted to whisper in my ear.
"Uh johnny are you sure thats a good idea i mean you say their nice but im from west side of town im not even supposed to be in your territory" I said worried he was serious.
He sighed "Please nina they will like you because your not stuck up like them socs are and your beautiful" This made me smile and give in.
"Okay" I said we started walking to the curtis house well thats what he calls it, and once we got to the gate i was very nervous but johnnys sweet helpless eyes made me forget so i continued up the steps and through the door, I seen seven guys total i already knew ponyboy,soda, and twobit cause' they go to my school but i think soda dropped out.
Everyone stared at me and johnny and i thought i might puke.
"This is steve, dally, soda darry and you know pony and twobit right?" He said pointing to all the guys in the living room.
"Uh yeah hi" I waved to everyone it started getting awkward till i think his name is darry came up and shook my hand "hi and who are you?" He asked
"Im uh im johnnys girlfriend" I started to blush and smile.
"Well we know that sweetie whats your name?" He asked again
"OH uh sorry im nina"
"Nice to meet you offically johnny never shuts up about you" twobit smirked while ruffeling johnnys hair.
"Well look what we got here johnny its a soc girl what the hell are you doing with someone like her why would you bring her here shes just gonna end up screwing you over johnny" The boy with the leather jacket whos name was said to be dallas winston.
"No its not like that dal' shes a real good girl and i love her and she loves me" Johnny said it so bravely my eyes widend a little.
"Yeah right" he said getting in my face a little "And uh what number greaser guy is johnny huh? sixth seventh shit maybe you slept the whole east side" dallys breath smelt like beer and cigarrettes.
"Thats enough dally leave her alone you dont know her" Johnny yelled but before he was finnished i was already out the door with tears in my eyes i cant believe he said that to me, Johnny told me they were nice that wasnt nice at all.
I ran and ran till i was out of breathe johnny was behind me breathing heavy.
"Baby wait wait" He said " Im sorry he was drunk okay he didnt mean it i swear the rest are really nice and they like you alot i promise nina its okay im sorry"
"Hes such a gerk" I said crying into johnnys chest, suddenly i heard more foot steps i looked up to see dally and i almost started running again.
"What do you want dal' you've caused enought trouble just go away" Johnny said very angrily.
"No wait i just wanted to tell you nina and johnny that im im..." He seemed to be having some trouble with speaking his words "Im sss-ssorry? You've made johnny really happy and i shouldnt have came at you like that you seem like a nice girl, Was that right" He asked looking confused as if he never apoligized to anyone before.
I smiled and though i was still mad i said yes thats right and gave johnny a kiss he wouldnt be forgetting any time soon.
