"Chat"
"Princess"

Marinette's POV

I sighed as I opened the window for Chat, he had been coming over a lot and we now trusted each other with our lives. I guess it was nice to have someone I could share almost everything with who would just listen.

"Hello there Princess, do you have some cookies?" I gave a small laugh at the fact that was the first thing he thought about.
"Yes kitty," I sighed as I went downstairs to retrieve some for the stray cat.

Author's POV

Chat smiled at the thought of cookies.

As Marinette opened the trapdoor with the cookies, he noticed something in her smile. It didn't seem... real. Her eyes didn't light up like usual and her adorable dimples weren't showing.

"Princess," he carefully said,
"Yes Kitty?" She asked, trying not to show how broken inside she was
"What's wrong?" Shit. she thought,
"N-nothing" she awkwardly said, "Why?"
"Don't lie to me" he said, worry and care in his voice.

She looked deep into his eyes, as he did her, after 1 minute she couldn't take it anymore, she burst into tears and fell into his arms,

"I-I.. Sh-she.." she sobbed
"Shh, shh, it's OK princess," His kind words comforted her.

10 min later

Chat's POV

I could see something was seriously bothering her. And although I wanted to know so desparetly what or who did this to her, just so I could beat the living daylights sout of whoever would dare to hurt my Princess, but I knew she wouldn't approve. I also didn't want to make her uncomfortable by forcing her.

"I-I'm s-s-sorry Chat..." she stuttered
"hey, don't be sorry, it's normal to cry," She looked up to me with her beautiful blue bell eyes which were now all red and puffy, she doesn't deserve this. She once again collapsed into my arms, obviously craving comfort, which I offered... (While sneaking my other hand over to the plate of cookies)

Marinettes POV

I looked up at him and immedietly started laughing, despite all the tears that I had once again just shed, in his mouth the was a cookie, and a guilty look on his face.

Any normal person at this point would be annoyed and scold him for not caring enough, but right now I was just glad to laugh again.

For almost the whole night we hung out, mostly playing Mega Strike 3 (My personal favourite game) and eating cookies.

But it still didn't feel like long enough.

When Chat was around, I could be myself, and I was happy! I never wanted this night to end with him. But sadly, all good things have to end.

"Hey Princess," He whispered in my ear, "I have to g-"
"NO!" I yelled, not wanting him to leave. He looked at me with that 'Come on, be mature' kind of look.

I gave up, I let go of him, no matter how much I wanted him to stay. I looked at the ground and sulked, doing so as a last resort to get him to stay.

He sighed
"Look Princess, I really don't want to leave either," He kissed me on my head, "But I have a life too you know, and if I don't go back, people will worry about me,"

I stayed silent.

"I promise I'll come back as soon as possible,"
"Ok." I finally agreed.

And with that, he leapt into the night.

Authors Note

Hi! Ok, so, I know that there's barely anyone reading this but... still, I like to put this little note on the end. I don't really have anything to say, so I hope you at least kinda enjoyed this.
