I woke up with a pounding headache and my whole body was hurting. opening my eyes I tried to adjust to the small brightness shining through. when I fully opened it I could make out I was in a small room, with just a pathetic lamp portraying as my light. I looked around my prison cell and saw there was nothing but a wooden chair and a hard looking bed. I tried to get up but couldn't. I was chained up,who would do this.
About 15 minutes went by when I heard the metal door open. a small shadow appeared and I could tell it was a girl. she was carrying a small object in her hand.
"Are you awake?" she asked her voice sweet and innocent.
I nodded, but wasn't sure of she could see me.
"Yeah," I replied my voice the opposite of hers. dry, tired and just hateful.
"I brought you some breakfast," she whispered. smiling when she got closer.
"Why?" I spat out.
"Because I'm not like them, I too am a prisoner just like you!"
"What do you mean? who's them?"
"I mean I'm not gonna hurt you, I'm a servant you could say, and by them I mean..." she paused
"Who!" I almost screamed, that's if I had more energy.
"Tasha and her strigoi friends, well partners in crime." she laughed. I slowly relaxed knowing she was much of a threat but I can't keep my guard down now.
"Where I'm i?" I asked still confused.
"On an island somewhere, I don't know the exact place though sorry." she replied.
"How long have I been asleep for?"
"6 days,"
"6 days oh my god," then things started coming back to me. I was at a party. then Adrian proposed. oh my I forgot about Adrian.
"Where's Adrian?" I screamed suddenly getting my energy back. "And lissa and dimitri and Christian, where is everyone?" I asked panicking.
" I think everyone is safe, I've had to take care of them too. they woke up before you, but...." I looked up straight away.
"But?" my voice started going all shaky.
"Adrian he's your boyfriend right. the moroi?" she asked me her voice calm.
I nodded.
"He's in bad shape. he took quiet a big blow and he's broken almost everywhere." my heart sank. this can't be right Adrian has to be alright he has to be.
Moments passed in silence when I felt my stomach rumbling. then I remembered the most terrifying thing yet. my hand traveled to my stomach. I'm pregnant, what happened to my baby, will they alright.
"Don't worry your baby is fine, tasha had you scanned. " my heart relaxed a little.
After eating my food, I sat on my bed . that girl she didn't tell me her name left just before I finished. all I wanted to do was cry and cry and be with my friends back at the court, laughing and dancing, I wanted to be back to lissa and Adrian. and dimitri. god I feel so bad for what I put him through. all of it was my fault. my fault that got Adrian in this mess, not only is he seriously hurt but when he's alright i'll have to tell him the truth, about everything. about the baby and what hurts me most is that I have to decline his proposal, because truth is I love Adrian but not the way I love dimitri. so this is a decision I'm gonna have to make but before that I have to bust myself And everyone else out of here. Now I need a plan.
Sorry it's short I didn't know what to write but I'll update soon again. I just wanted to say thanks to all those people to keep commenting and voting it means so much to me.and I promise I will be updating once every other day now that it's the summer holidays.
