Your point of view

I woke up tired as hell, but I didn't care because I was excited too. Today was the day I can finally see my boyfriend after a long time. I met him three years ago.

*flashback*

As I walked passed all the booths, they all looked interesting. Every year this festival is always packed and I don't like to be in crowded areas. Luckily this festival was for 24 hours which meant it was all night. Not much people are here after 1.  Wow all the lights are so pretty at night. I didn't notice someone was staring at me while I was gazing at the lights. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see a guy with silver/gray hair and dark gray eyes. He was kinda hot, he had a smirk on his face. "Uh hello?", he said waving his hand in front of my face. I didn't realize he was talking to me, "o-oh sorry I was just.....". "You were starring at me like I was a whole meal", he said while he smirk got bigger. You are- I mean. "Sorry", I looked away trying so hard not to make contact." It's fine people do it all the time, anyways I just came to give you back your wallet. You dropped it.", he said giving back the wallet. "Thank you so much, is there anything I can do to repay you back", I asked him. "Well you can start with your name and maybe end it with your number", said making direct eye contact with me. My face became so red. After like a minute I finally regained myself. "Well my name is (y/n) (l/n) and this is my number", I put my hand out with my number scribbled on the And as he was about to take it, I pulled my hand away. "But first i would like to know your name". He laughed, "I'm Mercury Black". I handed him the piece of paper with a big smile on my face. "Wanna get some ice cream?", he suggested. I nodded starting to walk to the ice cream cart. "Question, Are you a parking ticket? 'Cause you've got fine written all over you". I giggled at his stupid pick up line. It was like that all night and it was the best night ever.

*flashback ends*

I started rushing to get ready. "Why are you rushing? Got a hot date?" One of my teammates asked. "Hmm something like that", I replied getting my stuff together. "Well I'll see you guys later", I said basically running out the door. I was walking in the city. He told me to meet him at a little cafe near by. I sat down in the chair outside of the cafe. He's 10 minutes late. I texted him but he didn't answer. Maybe he forgot, he does have to unpack and stuff. "Excuse me, Is your name Wi-fi? Because I'm really feeling a connection", someone said from behind me and as I looked back I saw Mercury holding a gift. "Mercury!", I screamed as I jumped on top of him giving butterfly kisses. "Woah babe I didn't know you missed me that much but I don't blame you", he said smirking. I rolled my eyes sitting back down in my chair. He sat across from me giving me the small gift. "You didn't have to get me anything, I feel bad I didn't get you one", I said. "Seeing You is more than I could ever ask for", he said. I smiled and opened the gift. It was a diamond necklace shaped in a heart and on the side it was engraved saying 'Let's commit the perfect crime: I'll steal you're heart, and you'll steal mine'. I was smiling, "Awww Mercury I love it! Thank you". "Only the best for my baby", he said smiling like an idiot. The whole day you guys just walked around the city doing whatever.

Time skip

"You ready for the dance?", my best friend, Yang asked. "Yea but I'm nervous", i replied. "Why? this is gonna be fun", Yang says fixing her dress. "Well am I just gonna sit there the whole time....Mercury hasn't asked me to the dance..", I said looking down. Yang had a surprised look on her face, "I thought you guys were dating...maybe he thought he did but actually didn't? Well if he won't dance with you than I'll dance with you, ima be dancing alone anyways but it's gonna be fun". I smiled at her, "thanks Yang".

At the dance

I wonder if he's here. I looked around the place but couldn't find him due to everyone dancing. I shouldn't be focused on him, I should just have fun.

Few minutes later(idk lol)

"Having fun?", Ruby asked me. "Yea-", I noticed she was kinda struggling walking in her high heels. "Have you never worn high heels?", I asked amused. "Yang made me wear them, I hate them! I can't wait to take these stupid things off", Ruby protested walking to a chair to rest her feet. I laughed feeling bad she has to wear them the whole night. I walked towards the punch bowl table and right before I was about to grab a cup I saw Mercury at the corner of my eye. He was talking to Emerald and Cinder. He made eye contact with me knowing how I was feeling. I shuffled through the crowd of people dancing and walked out. "(Y/n)! (Y/n)! Wait", he called out chasing me. He caught up to me and grabbed my wrist turning me around. "What?", I said not making eye contact.
