let's continue this story teehee

Thoughts continued to race through my mind, we aren't even in a relationship; I can't even be surprised i was played. This was going to happen sooner or later.

I squirmed around in my bed. It's been quiet, unusual for this home. I walked downstairs, squeezing my hands.

"Where's dad?" I asked my mom as she sat in the kitchen with her head rested in her hands.

"I don't know. He hasn't been home." She sighed, "I think he's gone. Missing." She finishes before looking at me.

"He'll be back." I say rolling my eyes. She shrugged her shoulders and continued to daze out of the window. "You know, I don't like you hanging out with that guy."

I scoffed, "trust me, I won't be around him anymore."

She forced a smile, still not looking happy. "There's something not right-"

"That means I don't want to talk about him either." I tell her coldly and walked back to my room.

The next morning at work was calm, but busy. My coworkers were still annoyed that I was still employed, I don't blame them.

I turned my head as I heard the bell from the door opening go off. My mood sunken, I was disgusted to even see him.

"Hey, sweetheart. You weren't at my place last night?" He smirked and leaned against the counter. His eyes stared at my lips.

"I thought I told you i was staying the night at my place."

"Maybe. Anyway, are you busy tonight." He cupped his hands and rested his chin in them.

"Yeah. I am. Maybe ask all those other girls you've been seeing?" I smiled and grabbed a teapot, heading over to tables.

Before I could step anywhere he reached over and pulled my shoulder. "What do you mean?"

"Not sure, what do you think I mean Jackson?"

"I think you're accusing me of something."

"You think? Not sure if it's an accusation. Especially if I seen it with my own eyes."

He furrowed his eyebrows, squinting his eyes. "Yesterday, I seen you with some girl. You kissed her."

"I kissed her forehead." He confessed. "She's my little sister. I don't think I'd have anything to do with my little sister, especially like that." He raised a brow as he smirked.

"You can't expect me to believe that, can you?" I groaned and turned away from him.

"Well it's true," he paused before saying, "am I sensing jealousy, hun?"

My eyes widened, "what. No."

"Don't be jealous," his hand reached over mine and he returned a reassuring smile. I felt like I could instantly trust him, I hated the feeling that was rising in me.

"Okay." I tell him, "I'm not."

"Can you come with me to a party tonight? It won't be like last time, I promise you."

I didn't want to, i didn't even know who he was. But the way he looked at me made me believe I could trust him. "I guess." I say hesitantly.

"Great, see you later," he smiled once again before leaving.

Katherine looked at me as if I was crazy, and I shrugged my shoulders at her.

By the end of the night I realized how fast this day went. I glanced out the window realizing Jackson was in his car waiting.

"I'll see you later, Katherine."

She ignored me and i left.

"Dressing comfy?" He questions as he stares at me while I wear an oversized hoodie and leggings.

"Is that a problem?"

He shook his head, "of course not. You look good in anything."

My cheeks blushed lightly. We arrived finally at this cabin in the middle of nowhere- literally.

"This isn't sketchy at all," I tell him; hoping he hears the sarcasm in my voice.

"Don't worry, you'll be safe."

We walked in together, nobody really seemed to give any attention to me but only to Jackson.

A man walked to Jacksons side and whispered in his ear. "He's here?" Jackson spat, "if you see him around tell him to stay away from us."

The guy nodded and left us alone. The music was so loud I couldn't hear much, I felt as if I was becoming deaf. "What was-"

My eyes widened when a girl interrupted, her arm wrapped around him.

"Kasey, we fucked once leave me alone." He glared down at her, pushing her away. She was clearly intoxicated.

Jackson grabbed my wrist, pulling us to a quiet and less crowded place in the cabin.

"What was that guy-" another girl came up to him, struggling to walk. I was about to scream, I was annoyed.

I see Jackson rolling his eyes and pulls me outside, I stumbled a bit. "Sorry, anyway he's here." He informs me with no expression. He groaned, not wanting to say his name, "Ace."

"We just won't talk to him it's fin-"

"No it's not fine," he snapped at me, "you're not his, alright?"

"i'm not anybody's," I scrunched my nose and he pulled my closer to him; resting his hands on my waist.

"You're only mine, sweetheart." He whispers breathlessly and attached his lips onto mine.
