Pain Relief

Infinate clutched his head, as his chest flared up in white hot pain. Gadget was currently out getting supplies and wasn't back yet. The chest pains have been happening everyone in a while, always in the exact same area.

The spot where the crystal use to be, now in that spot was a visible scar. His hair flies wildly even though no wind blew through the room. As red boxes dances around him, he kept bitting back screams that wished to escape his mouth.

Every pulse of his chest got worse and worse. It was so bad he didn't realize the door had flown open or someone calling to him.

'Make it stop!' Infinite pleaded in his mind, knowing if he opened his mouth screams would come instead of words.

"-ite!!" A voice broke through and the Jackle peeled open his tear filled eyes to see a wolf standing before him, everything tinged red. His illusions turning against him. The wolf advanced, it's mangled and scared face snarled at him.

Infinite too wild with pain to realize quickly moved  backwards as he tried to get away from the advancing wolf. "St-stay away!" Infinite said fearfully as his back hit painfully against the wall. Not realizing how fast he moved.

A second pulse came from the snarling wolf, this time distorting the image. A familiar red turret wolf stood crystal clear against the wavering and glitchy world arounf him.

Infinite reached for it, to Gadget and the calm welcoming pulse that the wolf held in his hands. They met half way and the other enveloped Infinte in his arms, pressing the beating thing in his hands to Infinte's still painful chest.

Infinte groaned loudly as the pain in his chest began to dull and the red world began to reset back to the calm, dark world around them. He practically clutched Gadget close to him as he fought to speak through the pain "D-d-don't g-go-o.."

"Shhh, I'm not going anywhere" Gadget answer back, his voice soft knowing Infinite's senses would be in overload. The Jackle was lulled as he pressed his ear to Gadget's chest, feeling conferted by the strong heart beat in the others chest.

The solid sound of his loves heart and the tight death-like grip he had on Gadget began to ground him. His shaking breathed began soft and steady. "I'm sorry I'm a burden..." Infinite mumbled.

"Zero Infinite Jackle! Don't you dare ever say that again" Gadget said with determination gleaming his his eyes. "You are never a burden! Do you hear me!"

The familiar face made Infinte chuckle nervously. "Yes sir" Infinite finally began to relax, as his muscles began to slump from the effort. Infinte finally was able to get a bearing of things.

He was laying his back on Gadget's legs and his head rested comfertably in the red wolf's chest. One arm wrapped around his back and the other holding the familiar second Phantom Ruby in Gadget's palm. Which was pressed exactly on the spot of where Infinite's Phantom Ruby used to be.

"Thank you" Infinte said as he allows Gadget lift him up and settle him on the single bed. They were traveling to Gadget's parents house and they had been filled in on Infinite's chest pains. They two old wolves were willing to take on the challenge. As well as Inifnite's old Jackle team heading there as well.

Infinte watched Gadget put the ruby back in its protected case before joining Infinte back on the bed. Allowing the Jackle to wrap his shakey yet expandable arms around the red wolf as Fadgrr did the same.

Gadget kissed Infinite and the Jackle instantly melted into the kiss, Gadget broke it and began to pepper Infinte's face with kisses. In not time, Infinite was sound asleep with his locks billowing around the pillow.

Gadget sat there watching Infinite's chest for a moments, gently thumping the scar befire placing a soft kiss there.
