Chapter 15: Richie

After Eddie went into the bathroom, Richie grabbed at the Pop Tarts and milk. He ate them in about 2 seconds, and then it was his turn to flop onto Eddies bed. He was thinking about his plan.

So when Eddie got ready, they would leave and go to Richies. After that, he had no clue what to do. Telling his dad off? How could he feel proud when his dad was so drunk he wouldn't remember it in 2 minutes?

He decided to go anyways, and just live in the moment. He was 16, his own person. He could do what he wanted.

Since Eddie took showers fairly quickly, he heard the water turn off and the shower curtain pull open. Richie decided to put all of his stuff in Eddies closet for now, and if he didn't make it back from his house with anything, at least he had some stuff there.

Eddie walked out of the bathroom in Richies old AC/DC shirt and some jeans with burn holes in them. Only Eddie could pull all that off, Richie thought, Only Eddie.

"Hey Rich," Eddie said. He had gone to grab his phone from off his desk. He picked it up and put it down like he had burned himself. "Hey.. Why'd you throw your phone like it was fire or something?"

Eddie spun around and opened his phone. He gave it to Richie and a message from an unknown number showed up.

Unknown Number:
i know you're dating that trashmouth. better tell your boyfriend to watch his back. im cutting whoever i find first

This canceled all Richies plans. He knew who he was dealing with. Richie shoved the rest of his stuff in Eddies closet and kissed him. Then he jumped out Eddies window and started running to his bike. Richie looked behind him and noticed Eddie was following him.

"Stay here. I'm not letting him hurt you, okay? Those jeans don't need any more stains." Eddie started to cry and hugged his boyfriend. Richie wrapped his arms around him and kissed the top of his head. "I'm coming. I'll stay back if you want, I-I won't let him see me. Just let me c-come," Eddie pleaded. Richie gave him a smile and told him to grab his bike.

The rode off to school, where they knew Bowers and the rest of the Teletubbies would be.
