Onyah's P.O.V.

I sit at a table with Nikki, mom and dad watching the auction.

We already sold 8 vases.

I hadn't noticed how much people really loved antique classy vases... well, most of them are women and that makes sense, but still... wow.

I feel a tap on my shoulder and look to see Vintera.

She then bends down and whispers in my ear.

"Detrik's here..."

I stop.

...

I turn and look at her.

"For real?" I ask in annoyance and disbelief.

She nods.

"And the rest of his gang. Table 12, back of the crowd."

Mom catches onto the change in atmosphere around me and Vintera and leans over to me.

"Is everything alright Onyah?"

"...Detrik," Vintera says.

...

Mom sighs.

"I-... It's fine, they're not doing any harm so-"

I get up with a glare on my face.

"Oh no..." Vintera sighs.

As the auction continues on, showcasing and displaying vases, I walk over to them.

I make sure he looks me in the eye as I past they're table and head into the lobby.

He knows what the look means.

He gets up and follows me.

When we're alone, I spin around to him.

"Nice dress," he says.

I place my hands on my hips and look at him in disbelief.

"You need to get your gang out of here," He raises a brow, "We don't want any trouble and last time I checked, the police was looking for you?"

"You gon' get me arrested bae?" he walks closer and I step back.

"If I have to."

He places his hands on my hips and pushes me up against the front door, looking straight into my eyes.

"And what would you report...?"

"Sexual harassment and disturbance to the public."

...

"That fire in her eyes," He smirks and cups my jawline.

The next thing I know, once again, his lips are locked into mine.

I groan and try to push him off.

"You can also report the gang leader passionately kisses you. Just like the-"

I push him back and slap him across the face.

I pant heavily in anger as my eyes start to water.

"I don't want to hear about that time..."

He scoffs softly looking back at me.

"And what...? You think it wasn't hard for me too?"

"You didn't give a shit..." my voice breaks.

"Oh really...? Comes to show how much you actually know me Onyah."

...

He comes closer again.
