can't sleep.

(can hear wind from outside and rain) (room has 1 window, bed is near window, and a tree is outside) (bathroom is next to my room) (trailer house)

it's was around 3:00 am when this happened. i woke up to my sister scared because she had got an already for a tornado warning 3:00 - 3:30.

the wind was blowing hard and rain was heavy. it was so loud, i tried to go back to sleep but i couldn't.

after a while of sitting in my room covering myself with a blanket trying to go back to sleep i got an alert on my phone saying the tornado warning had been extended to 3:45 a.m.

i couldn't make it. i started panicking i went to my bathroom and sat on the floor probably around 3:20 a.m. waiting for the tornado warning to end.

i tried to play fortnite to calm me down it kind of did.

i was about to go back in my room only because i didn't feel like waiting for the last 15 minutes to pass. however i did by playing fortnite once again.

3:45 - 4:00
it's still kind of raining and the wind is loud. sometimes the rain stops but comes back again. when the rain stops i start hearing things, continuously checking outside just in case. nothing.

i decided to go back to my room and play some more fortnite since my tv had went out and it was quiet. (i got a victory royale) anyways after that i played like 3 or 4 more games until i decided i was gonna check the news.

i still can't sleep i've been checking wral.com and twitter continuously. new bern is underwater and people are stuck in their attacks. i'm worried this is 2 hrs away for me and 40 minutes away from my sisters bestfriend in kinston. i've refreshes the wral page. the water is rising and power is out in kinston. i'm worried for you mikey. please wake up!

the wind is 35 mph in new bern and 32 mph in new bern. it's also 21 mph near raleigh that's near me.

i'm scared. i'm looking at the tweets with #newbern. i'm scared even more.

there a billions of people in their attic trapped. they wanna sleep. people on twitter are yelling at the people in new bern because they didn't listen. it's not time to lecture. people say it's too dangerous to rescue anyone rn. peoples phones are about to die they are tweeting their locations. i'm worried.

i got off twitter for a few seconds and posted on my snapchat story.

it's currently 5:39 the wind is still loud and it's raining again. i don't know what to do anymore. i'm charging my phone because hurricane florence might be near me tmr morning. i'm gonna try to sleep. if i fall asleep i'll update you in the morning if i don't i'll update you later when something happens.
