I woke up to a knock on the door.
"Ronnie. It's breakfast time." I wake up and realize I slept through my alarm. I jump up really fast and dig through my bags for a pair of jeans and my black hoodie.

I throw on my hoodie and shimmy my black skinny jeans up my legs. I brush my hair and teeth and finish my hair off with it in a ponytail. As I walk out the door I slide on my black and white converse. I knock into somebody on my way into the cafeteria.

"Oh my God! I'm so sorry." The boy looks up at me with his bright blue eyes and just nods.

I watch him walk away. I take a deep breath and walk into the cafeteria.
I look around and see a bunch of teens sitting at tables. It looks like a high school. You would probably think that if you didn't know where you were.
But I know here I am. I'm at an asylum with a bunch of insane teens. Me apparently being one.

I go through the line and get my breakfast. I then look around and see an empty table. I go and sit there by myself because I really don't want to talk to anybody.

I then hear someone sit down next to me while I was picking through my food. I look over and see the blonde hair and very blue eyed boy that I bumped into earlier.

"I usually sit here by myself but since you're probably new here, you probably don't want to talk to anyone. So I guess you can sit here," the boy says.

"Okay?" I say. I decide to finally take a bite when the boy stops me.

"I wouldn't eat that. They're food here is disgusting. Then when you take your meds it makes you throw up." Not like I wouldn't throw it up anyway. I put my fork down and turn to him.

"What's your name?" I ask him. He looks shocked.

"Why do you want to know?"

"Because if we're going to be friends I would like to know your name." He looks around and so do I. I notice a lot of stares at us. I look back over at him and his head is down.

"Maybe that's not a good idea." he says quietly.

"Why you seem like a pretty decent friend. I would be more worried about me. I'm insane," I say jokingly.

"Isn't that why we're here? We're all insane," he says a smirk forming on his lips.

"Just tell me your fucking name." I hear him sigh and he looks at me.

"Luke Hemmings. Yours?"

"Ronnie Mead." The nurses then announce its time to take our meds. I tell Luke to come on but he shakes his head and points at the nurse with only one cup of meds.

He walks over to her and takes them. I decide to sneak out because I've tried the medicine before and it just gets me even more sad and angry. So I decide to just go ahead and go to morning group. Yay. A room full of insane teens with one supervisor. Great.
