Chapter 12: Catching Up

Niall picked me up off the ground and flung me over his shoulder. He ran out of his room and then down the stairs. The house was hidious. The wall colors were ugly and the furniture was not in the right places. The new house was big but the boys really didn't know what a matching, nice looking room looks like obviously. 

Niall flew down two more sets of stairs and finally he opened a door that lead to a huge garage. This was the only room that looked like it was in order. Of course they were boys and that's one of the only things they care about but they could at least consider asking Meg for help... As Niall opened the passenger car door, he slid me out of his arms and into the seat and he ran over to the other side of the car and got in. He opened the garage door and as it finally made it to the top Niall drove out of the garage and drove down the road like a maniac.

"Niall! Stop driving so fast you're scaring the hell out of me!" I said in a tense tone as my hands gripped the seat. He looked over at me and saw the fear in my eyes and slowed to 50 mph. "Thank you." I said in relief as I let go of the seat and turned my head to look at his. "I missed you." Niall said as he turned his head back towards the road. "I... Missed you too..." I said slowly as I shifted my head to look at the floor.

I saw Niall look at me and all of a sudden his hand had lifted my head up and he had grabbed my hand. "Joy I know you've been through a lot but, we're all here for you and we always will be." Niall ended as he squeezed my hand tighter. "Niall where is everyone? Nobody was in the house when I woke up other than you... Where's everyone else?" I asked in a troubled voice. "They have all been at Meg's house quite often now. Since Zayn has been constantly with Meg now so she doesn't hurt herself since you... got punched in the face... everyone else has been giving him and her support... I mean everyone always came back to see you and everything but... Meg is... Not well after you... Fell into a coma..." Niall finally ended as he stopped the car and I saw a tear fall down his cheek.

I unbuckled my seatbelt and leaned over and kissed Niall. As our warm lips clashed together I felt happy and better. I felt full. I didn't want to release the kiss but I needed to see Meg. As I pulled my head away from the long kiss I gave Niall a slight smile and got out of the car. I ran up one flight of stairs and finally I found Meg's apartment. I didn't even knock I just opened the door ran into Meg's apartment and ran to the living room. I saw Meg and I just ran to her and gave her the biggest hug I could muster. I felt her arms wrap around me but it was different than normal. She was weaker... weak with sorrow....

"I-I-I-I thought I'd lost you!" Meg cried as she burrowed her face into my shoulder. "I missed you Meg." I said as I hugged her tighter and cried with her. I held Meg into the embrace for a long time. I hugged her until she stopped crying. As I released the embrace with her I looked into her eyes and she said again, "I thought I'd lost you... I thought I'd lost my bestest friend in the whole wide world..." I just smiled at her with tears in my eyes and hugged her again.

As we released the hug reality set in and I looked around the room and saw Liam, Harry, Niall, Zayn, and Louis... But then I looked next to Liam and Louis and I saw Eleanor and... Liz... I looked back at Meg and smiled as I stood up and walked over to El and Liz. I looked at both of them with a smile on my face and tears in my eyes. Quickly I wrapped my arms around both of them and sighed. I missed them all.

As I released our embrace I smiled at both of them and stood up and walked to the middle of the room. I said, "Group hug?" I saw smiles on everyones faces except Harry's. Niall was the first to come over he literally ran over picked me up and spun me around in the air. I laughed and finally he put me down. Everyone else gathered around and soon I was in the middle of a warm and happy hug. All of a sudden I felt someone's lips on my lips and my first instinct was to push them away. As I finally succeeded and pushed him away I noticed it was Harry.
