Shinki's eyes widen at the girl's words and determined facial expression and he chuckles understanding her more than she thinks he does.

- Thank you

- No problem I am one of the Akimichi who are candidates to guard the Hokage himself

- I know you guys are strong but the KazeKage clan is stronger

- I know they are strong too Shinki!

- Let's go watch that movie

- Okay!

ChoCho clings to Shinki's arm heading into the living room where ChoCho searches through movies on the smart flat screen tv.

ChoCho reflects on her past and feelings for her friends whilst looking at Shinki.

ChoCho loves all of her friends equally but she has a certain type of love for Shinki. It is more leaning towards liking him in a romantic way. She likes Mitsuki as a potential friend too but he can be too blunt and come across as heartless sometimes.

She doesn't want anything to happen to either of them but especially Shinki he's a really nice guy to find guys who are handsome and have good hearts are rare. Shallow and mean guys are way more common so she treasures both him and Mitsuki in her own way. She fears losing friends in all ways especially if one of them were to die it'd be too much for the poor girl. She had two close female friends in the past at kidnergarden and she lost them because of her bluntness and the fact that a boy they liked she found him attractive as well so they turned enemies.

ChoCho didn't try to fight them for the guy but the girls considered her an enemy hence they were mean to her and the rivalry was the route cause of her teasing. The guy was just a friend to her but she likes handsome guys so she did find him attractive when she admitted it to the girls they changed. The guy had a girlfriend from the land of waves and she came one day after school to walk home with him and the girls we're devastated she was very beautiful. ChoCho could've competed with her but she didn't care to he didn't fit the type she was looking for. It was just a crush. The friendship between ChoCho and the guy became non existent after all of that because she couldn't take the teasing and he turned out to be quite shallow and mean himself.

ChoCho has been developing feelings for Shinki through their multiple meetings, with his cousin Shikadai and by himself sometimes. She was very surprised when he asked for her number a few days after the chunin exams and the chaos caused by Momoshiki.

~ Flash Back ~

The day when Boruto decided to apologize to everyone who he had wronged during the Chunin exams came. ChoCho, Shikadai and Inojin we're walking from the thunder Burger restaurant together and they saw Boruto apologizing to people.

ChoCho believed that was the right course of action, the Uzumaki was too reckless and thoughtless. She was curious to see if he'd really go through with it with the pride and arrogance Boruto originally had. She saw him approach Shinki's group. 

ChoCho knew he'd need to apologize to Shinki in particular but she thought he would've boarded the train already. For some reason she was blushing and holding her chest watching the Suna shinobi interact with Boruto. She still wasn't over how handsome and strong he was.

Temari told team 10 about Gaara's adopted son she didn't reveal his name but she told them that if they did not get serious they had no chance against him in the exams which happened. Temari warned the kids after the training. ChoCho didn't know he'd be so handsome and oddly interesting!.
