The love times

Wes's pov

I'll never forget what Mari and I did together.

I still remember when I first met her.

*Flashback*
Today's the day that I start my new job.

I walk into the Smoffice with my roommate, Joven and meet up with my new bosses, Ian and Anthony.

I also meet Sohinki, Flitz and Lasercorn.

Just then, a beautiful Asian girl with long, black hair and brown eyes walked in, wearing a 'Tomahawk chop is my death blow' tank top and ripped, denim shorts.

I found myself smiling at her as she smiled back.
"Hey, you must be Wes" She says, holding out her hand for a handshake.
"Yeah, I'm Wes. Nice to meet you" I confirm.
"Nice to meet you too. I'm Mari" She replies.
*Flashback*

Tears form in my eyes as I think about it.

I also remember taking her on our first date, sharing our first kiss and telling her I love her.

*Flashback*
I directed Mari through the park, where I was taking her for a date.

I stood behind her, covering her eyes and finding really hard to not smile.
"Wes, where are you taking me?" She asks, smile, clear in her voice.
"It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you" I tell her.
"If this is really a kidnapping, I'mma kick your ass" She warns, jokingly.
"You know I would never do that" I say, smirking.

I feel her roll her eyes and laugh.

We then arrive at the perfect spot and stop.
"You ready?" I ask her in a whisper.
"I've been ready" She replies.

I smile wider then remove my hands from her eyes, allowing her to finally see.

I hear her gasp in shock and delight as she looks around the beautiful park, added with the setting sun.

She turns to me with an expression of gratitude, admiration, delight and happiness and her beauty is unsurprisingly mixing with the orange light from what's left of the sun.
"Oh Wes, this is beautiful" She tells me, tears of joy in her eyes.
"I knew you'd like it. This place is great to get away from all your problems" I tell her.
"Thanks for bringing me here" She says, smiling and blushing.
"Anytime" I reply, smiling.

I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her as she does the same.

We stare into each other's eyes for what feels like an eternity then our faces, slowly move closer together until our lips touch.

After a few seconds, I pull away and put my forehead against hers.
"I love you, Mari" I whisper.
"I love you too, Wes" She whispers back.
*Flashback*

That's something I'll never forget.

One thing that's unforgettable is the day I proposed.

*Flashback*
Mari and I have been dating for 3 years now.

Today is the day that I finally pop the question and ask her to be my wife.

I check myself, in the mirror and fix my suit a little as I take deep breathes to calm my nerves.

I turn around and pick up the little, black box and open it to look at the ring, inside then hide it in my pocket.

I grab my keys and walk out the door.

I drive over to Olivia's which is where Mari is, preparing for our date.

I knock on the door and wait patiently for my girlfriend.

The door opens to reveal Olivia and she smiles at me.
"Hey Wes" She greets.
"Hey Olivia. I'm here for Mari" I tell her.
"Just give her a minute. She's just finishing up" She replies.
"Liv, I need help" I hear Mari call.
"Just a minute" Olivia says and shuts the door.
